With the increasingly complex business environment and intensified market competition,the traditional method of internal audit has been unable to meet the modern requirements ofthe company’s management. Because a substantial increase in the company’s business risk, thecompany’s management and internal audit external regulators placed higher expectations anddemands, and they are engaging in taking more responsibilities in order to establish a moreefficient internal audit, which can make a difference on risk avoidance, transfer and control.Therefore, it can assist the enterprises in the increasingly intense competition to survive andachieve the ultimate goal of the company’s value added Risk-based internal audit as aninternal audit innovative model of modern development, with new audit point of view andstrategic vision as a starting point, the risk is always internal audit throughout the process,enhance risk awareness.Through studying the theory and practice of risk-oriented internal audit, combing withactual condition from the A company, successfully designed a risk-based internal audit system.More specifically, through describing the current situation of the internal audit andorganization structure of the A company, understand why the A company need to establish arisk-oriented internal audit concepts and system. With this concepts and system, auditing canbe more efficient and valuable. Furthermore, this paper fully presented the process of how toestablish risk-oriented internal audit concepts and system through determining strategic object,recognizing risk, assessing risk, and minimizing risk. At last, this paper discussed emergencyplan behind the successful implementation of risk-oriented internal audit of A company, whichhelp the A company make a breakthrough in its financial situation.In this paper, by constructing a risk-oriented internal audit system, I aimed at improvingthe A risk management ability, solving the serious problem of brain drain, and building thecompany’s core team to further enhance the company’s core-competitiveness in the fiercemarket competition and to build a solid foundation for the long-term development of thecompany. Meanwhile, this paper illustrates an example, which guides the persons who want tostudy the application and development of internal audit.
