Research On The Construction Of Internet Of Things Industry System In China

In the new century, the world economy has undergone dramatic change. Since the global financial crisis in 2008 and the following European debt crisis, many countries have suffered from economic regression or slowing growth in varying degree. In order to remove the barrier to economic growth rapidly, many western developed countries have taken active measures to promote technological innovation. They have also resorted to new technologies and industrial so as to explore new point of economic growth. Under this background, the internet of things has emerged to capture wide attention. Along with the mobile internet, cloud computing and big data, the internet of things has emerged as the new-generation technology of information communication and thus led a new round of scientific and industrial revolution on a global scale. In recent years, China has released a series of policies to support and guide the development of the internet of things in a bid to establish a well-developed industrial system of the internet of things.Undoubtedly, the internet of things has become the popular research topic both at home and abroad. Many scholars in various fields have engaged in the relevant research. However, after reviewing massive literature, this paper finds that the industrial system of the internet of things has gained little attention from the experts except that it merely appears in some major policies and documents. In addition, the research on establishing the industrial system of internet of things is still lacking. Considering that the industrial system of internet of thing has lacked the theoretical support, it is quite necessary to carry out a systematic and in-depth research and guide the practice.From the perspective of economics, this paper has combined the research on the internet of things with the theories about relevant industry. Besides trying to build a research framework with logic self-consistency at the level of point, line, surface and entity, this paper has also adopted various research methods, including empirical analysis, so as to analyze the current situation of the industrial system of the internet of things in China. This paper has looked deep into the existing problems and their cause. Based on the actual condition in China, this paper has provided the rational advice. This paper consists of five parts.As the introduction, the first part will be devoted to introducing the research related to the internet of things.The second part is dedicated to establishing the research framework. On the basis of the national top-layer design, relevant experience in the world and related theories, this paper has proposed a research framework at the level of point, line, surface and entity. Hence, it will lay a solid foundation for the whole paper.The third part focuses on analyzing the present situation. By utilizing the research framework built and various analysis methods, this part has discussed the present situation of the enterprises, industrial chain and industrial cluster involved in China’s industrial system of the internet of things as well as the combination between the internet of things and traditional industry.Based on the analysis above, the fourth part has summarized the problems existing in the current industrial system of the internet of things from the perspective of the point, line, surface and entity.Targeted at those problems, the fifth par will provide some rational advice suited to China’s actual condition.
