| “Theme park†now is familiar with everyone, Disneyland. the founder of the “Theme Parkâ€, is well-known all over the world. Looking through each the Disneyland, no matter where it is, it will influence the local economy, and all these influences are continuously and in the same pattern. October 2009, with the commitment of State Council, the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission announced that, The Shanghai Disneyland project had been approved, which unveil the official start of the Shanghai Disneyland project. Since the 2010 Shanghai Expo, this will flagship project for the modern service, which will involve 40 billion investment, so we have to discuss how it will influence to Shanghai, to Yangtze River Delta region and even to China Firstly we start from the basic theory of the regional economy, and conclude the key elements of the regional economic theory from how the Theme Park will influence the development of the regional economy together with the pattern of the Them Park itself. Especially by growth pole theory and radiation theory, we will not only find the internal connect between theme park and regional economy, but also the benefites the Theme Park will take to the the regional economy. Furthermore, by study of each Disneyland, we could evaluate how the Shanghai Disneyland will be. Secondly, this article will use the quantitative analysis method to analyze the advantage of the Shanghai Disneyland project will take to the the regional economy, including gross domestic product for the region, the regional restructuring and development of related industries, policy innovation, updates of the urban pattern. Finally, through research, this paper will reveal the construction of Shanghai Disneyland theme park project has a positive impact on regional economic development, while the impact of the construction of the theme park and the regional economy is a two-way street, so we cannot say directly which of them is taking advantage. To expand the benefits of both, there is still a long way to go, for example, Enhanced Disneyland theme park and the Shanghai International Tourism Resort linkage; actively involved in high value-added industries to expand profit margins; full interpretation of the Disney culture and progressive integration into the Chinese elements; continued to innovate and enhance the attractiveness of tourist destinations; actively seek government support policies to expand the gathering of radiation effects. |
