A Study On The Industrial Development Strategy Of Hohhot City Economic Zone

Airport economy is a special economic form and a kind of inevitable phenomenon that the economy developed to a certain stage. Airport economy has made a great success in many countries and regions, it became a new growth point that boosting economic development of these countries and regions. From the development situation of airport economy in our country, it has formed a certain scale in some developed coastal cities, but just started in second-tier cities in the west. Hohhot should seize the good opportunities for development, in which case, it is very important to conduct a systematic study on airport economy.Firstly, the paper elaborates the connotation, characteristics of the airport economy and the basic types of the airport economic zone, combs in details the industrial category and the spatial distribution of domestic and international airport economic zone which act as the theoretical basis of this paper. Then, the internal and external environment development of Hohhot airport economic zone was analyzed in detail, and determined the necessity and feasibility of development of Hohhot airport economic zone.On the basis of analyzing the current situation of Hohhot airport economic development, the current problems existed in the economic development of Hohhot airport was pointed out and showed clearly direction and thought for planning and constructing industrial Hohhot airport economic zone. And then, emphasis choice for the development of key industries of Hohhot was analyzed has carried on the in detail. Meanwhile, according to the current situation of economic development and industrial distribution of Hohhot, we did industrial and spatial planning of the Hohhot airport economic zone. This paper described the Hohhot airport economic zone industrial development strategy by stage and combed the measures and ways for development of Hohhot airport economic zone. In this paper, we provided the certain theoretical basis for the guidance of how to choose the airport industry for Hohhot airport economic zone.
