With the development of network technology, the birth of the new business model, the rise of personalized consumer groups, on the one hand bring the long tail commodities sales opportunities for the traditional stores; On the other hand also brought new challenges for inventory management. Currently, YXT has two thousand direct stores. But for the long tail commodities, the current inventory management model cannot accurately forecast sales and replenishment to balance inventory and sales. For the definition of the long tail commodities due to differences between industries and products vary. In this article, Less than0.003%of trading opportunities commodity for three consecutive months is defined as long-tailed commodities. For example, Such as A stores for three consecutive months for all transactions accumulated100,000times, but in the meantime B commodity trade only twice, therefore, B’s trading opportunities is equal to the100000divided by2, the result is0.002%,less than0.003%,so B belongs to A store’s long tail commodity.In this paper, the authors introduced into CPFR inventory management techniques, research YXT store’s inventory collaborative management model. The overall thesis consists of five parts:the first chapter the author introduces the research background, significance, ideas and methods to expounded necessity and feasibility studies. The second chapter introduces the theory of the system of review and research developments. The author also highlighted the CPFR inventory management theory and implementation steps, for YXT store’s inventory collaborative management model has laid a theoretical foundation. The third chapter describes the YXT’s industry background and operating status, analyzed the evolution of YXT store’s inventory management, the long trail goods inventory management problems, YXT implementing CPFR technology hall significance and conditions. In chapter Ⅳ, the author use the CPFR inventory management techniques, to build the inventory collaborative management model for the long tail commodities, design operation processes and develop implementation plans. The fifth chapter, conclusions and outlook.
