With continuous appreciation of the RMB,more and more relaxed international business environment and a strong advocate of our government’s "going out" strategy, the internationalization road of Chinese enterprises is provided a good external conditions. Growing of the strength and size of Chinese enterprises, and the increase of international demands, also provide a solid internal foundation for the internationalization.On December8,2004, Lenovo’s acquisition of global PC business of IBM caused widespread discussion in the world. Many people are not optimistic about this acquisition,and predicted that the association is doomed to fail.Through playing their wisdom,Lenovo solve the problem of post-merger integration difficulties creatively and completed the integration of the IBM PC business successfully in2009. Early in the year of2014, the move of Lenovo Group’s acquisition of Motorola’s mobile from Google Group is very significant. Because it not only obtained a valuable patent assets and rich sound of its product line, but also laid a solid foundation for its entering the international market while relying on Motorola’s strong brand influence and mature suppliers and sales channels. The internationalization of Lenovo both have gains and losses, and other enterprises in China can learn from the successful experience and lessons of failure. The only way leading to improve resource allocation, enhance independent innovation capability, enhance core competitiveness, so as to succeed in the fierce competition in the international market is internationalization of the firm.This article used the literature reference method and the method of combining theoretical analysis empirical analysis by comparing the current mainstream of enterprise internationalization theory, and combined with Lenovo, cross-border M&A cases in China for a sense of problems in the current our country enterprises internationalization road to better generalizations. At the same time, according to Lenovo’s international cases analysis the gain and loss of Lenovo acquisition and using the method of combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, from the aspects of transnational mergers and acquisitions in the process of enterprise internationalization, feasibility was analyzed. Finally draw the conclusion:in order to better realize the internationalization development under the background of globalization, Chinese companies should strengthen technology innovation, promote enterprise’s core competitiveness, in addition to the objective view and solve the problem of multinational culture and the integration of resources.
