Different Income Levels Of Urban Residents Consumption Structure Analysis In Inner Mongolia

Consumption, investment and exportation are the "three carriages" for the national economic growth. Consumption, as one of the "three carriages", is the dominant factor for the national economic growth. Consumption structure, is not only the main problems of economic research in the consumption field, but also a very important problem in the operation of the social reproduction. In the continuous development of socialist economy market、in the process of the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, consumption structure is playing a more and more important role. Doing Research on the consumption structure,finding out the trend and the regularity of consumption structure is of great importance for promoting the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and achieving the virtuous cycle of the national economicFor a long time, the Inner Mongolia urban residents’ consumption structure is unreasonable,Residents income level is low, manufacturing structure is unreasonable, service industry develop slowly,these reasons hindered the urban residents’ consumption structure optimization and upgrading in Inner Mongolia. In the period of "Much starker choices and graver consequences in planning" period, it is an important issue for people to think about how to rationalize the urban residents’consumption structure in Inner Mongolia.In this article, we use the quantitative empirical research method, select 12 urban cities residents’consumption data of Inner Mongolia in 2000-2014 to find out the trend of Inner Mongolia town residents’consumption level and changing tendency of consumption structure. This article selects the AIDS (almost ideal demand system model) as the basic model for urban residents’consumption structure research in Inner Mongolia, we add the time virtual variables and region virtual in AIDS model to analysis different income levels of urban residents’consumption demand, find out consumption structure changing tendency, and calculate its expenditure elasticity and price elasticity.The article has shown that urban residents’consumption structure in Inner Mongolia has realized the change (from necessity to development).Finally,the article put forward these relevant policy suggestions:improve residents’income level、 create an environment of residents’consumption,reduce the residents’income gap.
