According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics, the contribution of consumption to the growth rates of GDP exceeds 50 percent from 2011 to 2014 over four consecutive years. As a most stable factor in stimulating economic growth, consumption is bound to become a major booster of economic growth. As the increasing of consumption prosperity, consumption credit is entering a broader development space. The development of consumption credit will not only promote consumption, guide industrial upgrading, but also improve the asset structure of commercial banks, broaden the customer channels, reduce credit risk, thereby increasing the economic efficiency of commercial banks.Consumption credit business in our country began in the 1980 s. The original intention is mainly to support the development of housing reform, and very few financial institutions participated in this business such as CCB、ICBC. Along with the development of domestic economic and the development of the economic theory in the later 1990 s, the objects of consumption credit become more wide, such as civil servants, enterprises and employees, freelancers and the like. The types of consumption credit become more diverse, including mortgage, auto loans, tourism loans, student loans, credit cards and the like. The banking financial institutions participating has increased dramatically, and almost all commercial banks have set up a special department to carry out consumption credit business. With the rapid development of consumption credit, many theorists are concerned at this field, and many professionals have written a large number of literatures. But through consulting the literatures, the author founds that there are qualitative analysis in most of the literatures, and the summary of the large data from the practical operation are rare. Therefore, this paper uses Logistic model for sampling data from the branch of China Postal Savings Bank in Puyang to conclude that there are many factors which are related to the performance of clients, such as the borrower’s age, marital status, education level, work experience, the nature of units of guarantee, loan amount, loan term, large assets owned, cash flow balances, income repayment ratio, credit reports classification, and repayment record. The SPSS software is used in this paper to obtain correlation coefficient and establish a regression equation. Meanwhile, the paper also puts forward views on the internal and external factors with respect to commercial banks which affect consumption credit, including commercial banks’ internal risk control, system construction, and the improvement of legal system etc. The author believes that it needs a two-way efforts from inside and outside of commercial banks to control risks of consumption credit. External efforts are to build credit system, improve the legal system, reduce administrative intervention, and improve social security. Interior efforts are to strengthen risk control and make full use of the advantages of large data. Through summarizing the large data, locate the appropriate group of consumption credit to reduced risks.
