Financial industry, as an important pillar of economic development of a country, plays an important role in maintaining a country’s economic stability. While the banking sector as a pillar industry in the financial industry, rapid and efficient development of the banking sector to enhance the function of the financial industry has a pivotal position. Therefore, by the study of China’s listed commercial banks’ efficiency, this paper tries to explore the factors that may affect the efficiencies of commercial banks and discovers the differences between various types of commercial banks, and based on this proposed countermeasures and suggestions for future of the ascension of the our country commercial bank development and efficiency has important theoretical value and practical significance. Therefore, this paper, on the basis of drawing on the research results at home and abroad, aiming at the deficiency of existing research, through theoretical analysis, index system, model building and on the impact of our country commercial bank test the factors, on the efficiency of commercial bank in the depth profiling. This paper proposes a study of the efficiency of Chinese commercial banks realistic background and significance of the thesis research methods, research ideas and frameworks were introduced, and points out the focus and innovation may be present papers to be studied. In the second part of the paper scale efficiency chapter Bank, scope efficiency and cutting-edge efficiency aspects of domestic and international banking efficiency literature a more comprehensive analysis and sorting of bank efficiency analysis methods commonly used parameters and non-parametric methods and Related research results were introduced, identified in a previous study on the efficiency of commercial banks have ignored the impact of non-performing loans on bank earnings, in fact, if banks’ bad loan ratio is higher, then certainly with more money to write off bad debts, while If the bank’s profitability is not strong, it will certainly affect the speed of non-performing assets.Based on the defect of previous researches, this paper conduct an empirical study of sixteen Chinese commercial banks(with five state-owned commercial banks, eight joint-stock commercial banks and three city commercial banks) from 2005 to 2014, with the number of employees, ownership interest and loanable funds chosen as input variables, interest income and non-interest income as output indicators, non-performing loans as undesirable outputs, while the use of traditional CCR model and the non-performing loans into undesirable output model framework for state-owned commercial banks, joint-stock commercial banks and city commercial banks over the years efficiency calculation. The results show that the efficiency calculated by the two approaches above show significant differences. The efficiency calculated by the undesirable model is significantly lower than the traditional CCR model, which indicates that the results calculated by the previous approach is to be biased and inexact. The efficiency show a descending pattern of joint-stock commercial banks, city commercial banks, state-owned commercial bank.On this basis, the paper efficiency treat the undesirable output value as the dependent variable model, and total assets, asset allocation, return on equity ratio, the ratio of non-interest income to total income, equity and total assets, non-performing loan ratio, ownership structure, regional headquarters, and in the number of listed equity structure as independent variables. The establishment of China’s commercial banks efficiency factors econometric model, and the impact of various factors on the size of different types of commercial banks have been tested. Finally, for the findings and conclusions of the major commercial banks in China to enhance the efficiency measures and suggestions.
