Evaluation Research Of The Technological Innovation To Promote The Transformation Of Economic Development Mode In Our Country

Due to the reform and opening-up policy, the economic have developed rapidly in our country, and various aspects have remarkable effect, Economic aggregate ranked second and people’s living standards improved significantly. But, the high economic growth also exposed the unprecedented social contradictions and economic problems:environmental degradation, resource-poor, unbalanced regional development and disharmonious social development and so on. These problems have become the bottleneck of our country economy sustained and rapid growth. These advantage facts of supporting economic development are changing: high saving rate and investment rates will be adjusted downwards, infinite labor supply will disappear, low labor cost advantage will disappear, the patter of world economy has greatly changed. Based on the practical problem,comrade Hu Jintao put forward the transformation of the mode of economic development for the first time in the party school of speaking, and the general secretary Xi Jinping also stressed the "transformation of the mode of economic development is the current focus". Transformation the pattern of economic development is not only an important strategy on current economic development in our country, also is the premise of sustainable development in the future, but also the guarantee of the scientific outlook on development and the Chinese dream. Technological innovation is the key link in the numerous factors influencing, it supports the transformation of economic development in all aspects. Therefore, studying on the effect of technological innovation on the transformation of China’s economic development mode has an important theoretical and practical significance for the realization of scientific outlook on development and the china dream.This paper studies the effect of technological innovation to the transformation of economic development mode from both theoretical and empirical aspects. Firstly,review the related theories, including the theory of economic growth, economicdevelopment theory and innovation theory, to strengthen the theoretical basis of this paper, and then analyze the connotation and characteristics of the mode of economic development and technological innovation combined with the actual situation in China;secondly, analyze the connotation and characteristics of the economic development and technological innovation combined with the reality of our country,then describe the current situation by the descriptive statistical methods, founding that China’s technology innovation and transformation of the mode of economic development overall are benign development, but there are still many problems in recent years, and then analyze the mechanism of technological innovation to the transformation of economic development mode from theoretical aspect. Finally, the index system were constructed respectively according to the connotation, then using the 1997-2013 panel data of 29 provinces,using the non-parameter model to make an empirical analysis between the technology innovation and the shift of economic development mode in whole Country, region and provinces, and also gives the parameter estimate results to contrast analysis, using non-parametric pointwise regression method to analyze the dynamic trend between technological innovation and transformation of the mode of economic development.The conclusions are: 1. Technology innovation can promote the transformation of the mode of economic development. Although the estimation result is slightly different in different models, but the average marginal effect coefficient is greater than 1.2 in all models, showing that the technological innovation is the key to the transformation of the mode of economic development.2. Non-parametric point wise regression estimate the relation between the technological innovation and transformation of the mode of economic development is "inverted U", but the marginal effect has been positive,showing that technological innovation can promote the transformation of the mode of economic development, but the effect is different in different periods. 3. From the regional perspective, the estimation results are slightly different in different modes, but all estimation results show that the technology innovation has a significant role in promoting the changing of economic development. And the level of economic development is different in the region, it decreases from the east to the west gradually. 4.From the provinces of view, the level of economic development in the western region is significantly lower than eastern region, but it have made progress in each provinces, and technological innovation will still support the transformation of economic development mode.Based on the above conclusions, this paper makes the following policy recommendations: 1.Make full use of global resources of science and technology, and strengthen the technological innovation of "introduction" and "going out".2. Strengthen regional exchanges and cooperation between the provinces, and share resources, achieve complementary advantages; at the same time, these provinces should combined with different characteristics of resources to find the most suitable method and mode, and avoid to use a model in the promotion of technological innovation and the transformation of economic development mode. 3.Strengthen the system innovation,and improve the innovation ability of market transformation.4. Increase technology investment and optimize investment structure, especially government investment to provide capital guarantee for technological innovation. Optimize the investment structure to promote technological structure rationalization, improve economic efficiency to promote the transformation of economic development mode.
