Composite material has played an important role in modern aircraft manufacture, and riveting is main joining tecnology in aircraft manufacture.Presently,there are a lot of problems in composite material riveting,and the quality cannot be guaranteed. Electromagnetic riveting has made a difference in metal riveting. Electromagnetic riveting contributes a new method to high quality joining in composite material product.In some countries, Electromagnetic riveting on composite material is basically mature, but in China,there is still a lot of work to do.The most important thing is to get the best technological parameters.In order to get technological parameters of electromagnetic riveting in composite material product, to summarize regulation to popularization and application, based on the advanced experience, experiment and quality analysis are used in this article to research technological parameters that affect joining quality and structure of riveting model. The finite element method is applied in riveting model design to analyze the effect that model angle has on rivet rod’s expand, and experiment is the main method in technological parameters research. The article does not only get the technological parameters of electromagnetic riveting in carbon fiber composite material product after verifying the result in intensity analysis etc., but also summarizes regulation of numerical tendency, and applications in other composite material. In the end, it offers a new method to riveting in composite material product.
