Space-based early warning system is one of the most important parts in defend shield system. To build an excellect space-based early warning system is a growing trend. And to establish a fast and accuate satellite sensor scheduling model is absolutely even more important. Previous researches focused on the scheduling problem of satellite sensors to missiles, but little studies concern the information came from ballistic estimation will affect the process of sensor scheduling. Derived from the previous researches, our study is aimed at raising a novel sensor scheduling model for space-based early warning system, which is based on the knowledge of ballistic estimating.First of all, we will design the skeleton of space-based early warning system and illustrate the procedure of ballistic estimating in it, then analyze the different function of two distinct satellite sensors to methodically set a whole sensor scheduling layout.Besides, to build this creative sensor scheduling model, the paper purposes to use the information came from ballistic estimation to get some new constraint conditions and optimal objects as the bonding point of sensor scheduling and ballistic estimating. Through scheduling limited resources, the space-based early warning system could arrange satellite sensors more efficency. Finally, sensor scheduling, as a NP-Hard problem, is also a key problem in this research. By using genetic algorithm and adjusting related operators, we can optimize the schedule result. we will conduct a series of simulation experiments to prove our model is relatively more efficient. All in all, we combine the knowledge in ballistic estimating and sensor scheduling to build a novel sensor scheduling model. The model might be a good reference for the future researches, and also it might be helpful to build the real space-based early warning system before long.
