Check Dam is an important basic project for the development and utilization of resources and economic construction in the dam area.While helping the residents in the dam area to improve their lives and increase their income,there is also a risk of disaster.This paper studies and develops a monitoring and early warning system for the Check Dams in the northwestern region of China,such as the backward management of the Check Dams and the undetected hidden dangers of dam disaster.Information management to improve the timeliness of Check Dam monitoring and early warning.This work mainly includes:(1)By analyzing the actual needs of daily monitoring and management of the Check Dam,the system network topology based on NB-IoT and 4G/5G and the layered structure of the system are designed.The system mainly includes a data acquisition layer,an edge layer,a data transmission layer,Service support layer and application layer.In addition,the ArcGIS technology,edge computing and task scheduling methods involved in system implementation and the development technology of Check Dam monitoring and early warning system are introduced.(2)In the conventional non-flood season scenario,in order to avoid the undetected hidden danger of the dam body of the Check dam and improve the timeliness of the early warning system,a computing task scheduling strategy based on simulated annealing algorithm is proposed.Firstly,the calculation task completion time model is established based on information such as task calculation amount and edge server calculation capability;secondly,based on the task completion time model,a simulated annealing algorithm is used to design the scheduling strategy of the Check Dam calculation task;finally,through experimental analysis and comparison,Verifies the applicability of task scheduling strategy based on simulated annealing algorithm in this scenario.(3)In the flood season scenario,in order to reduce the impact of the dam disaster caused by Check Dams,a Check Dam calculation task with a high probability of dam disaster is executed in time,and an improved Min-Min scheduling algorithm based on priority queues is proposed.Firstly,model the minimum completion time of the Check Dam calculation task;secondly,normalize and weight the sum of the rainfall level and the minimum completion time of the task to obtain the priority queue of the Check Dam calculation task;finally,Based on the Min-Min scheduling algorithm to achieve priority task queue scheduling.This method reduces the completion time of the high-risk Check Dam task and effectively improves the load balancing performance of the traditional Min-Min algorithm.(4)Based on the above work,a set of Check Dam monitoring and early warning system was designed and developed.Among them,the scheduling and execution of computing tasks are implemented at the system’s edge layer,and the functions of information management,information display,and danger message push of the dam are completed through the dam monitoring and early warning Web terminal system,and the mobile APP is used to complete the data upload of the dam.With push message receiving and other functions.
