ã€Purpose】Woolly apple aphid(Eriosoma lanigerum Hausmann) is an important pest in apple production. It used to be plant quarantine target all over the world, and still as a plant quarantine target in China. It seriously damages apple trees, causing significant economic loss in the apple growing areas, spread quick and difficult to perish. In recent years, as expand of apple plant, apple seedlings source also subsequently complicated, the risk of woolly apple aphid being carried into became more and more high. Even reports have pointed out:there are woolly apple aphid harm signs in some area. To ensure the healthy development of Weibei apple industry, prevent woolly apple aphid emerged and make useful management once appeal. It is necessary to study the seasonal abundance and diffusion rule of it with the special ecological conditions.ã€Methods】The field investigation and experiments within the district combined approach,select woolly apple aphid heavily occurred orchard under Weibei ecological conditions to do Over-winter condition and years occurrence regularity study, and do spread trend and winged aphid research. On this basis, explore the control method in this area.ã€Results】The over-winter of wooly apple aphis in Weibei begins at mid November and ends at mid March, mainly concentrated in the root, then the trunk, the minimum branches. The wooly apple aphis over-winter mainly as 2nd instar, about 65% on average.1st instar and 3rd instar, the proportion is less, about 13% and 17% on average. The proportion of 4th instar accounted for only about 4%.Adults can’t over-winter. To different management orchards, the over-winter population has no significant difference, trunk is parasitized easily, branches the second, root branches at relatively low parasitic rate. The standardized management orchard’s parasitic rate obviously higher than normal management orchard’s 30% level, parasitic rate is above 75%.So improve standardization of orchard do favor to the Natural enemies control.Throughout the year the peak occurred twice, the first peak is from mid-May to mid-July, the second peak is from mid-September to mid-October, at late-June to the amount of annual aphid peak. There are two migration activity peaks throughout the year, the first peak is from late-March to early-July, the second in early-October to late-October, the first peak lasts longer. Woolly apple aphid migrate mainly as 1st instar, at the rate of more than 95%.There are two migration peaks in a single-day, the times are 12:00 and 16:00, the migration number are about 80 nymphs per plant and 60 nymphs per plant.Winged woolly apple aphid took place twice in a year, summer(early-June to late-June) and autumn(early-September to late-October).The average life-span of winged aphid in summer is 55h(1.5~3h),average multiplication number is 3.1 nymphs(0-8 head 31~36℃),all are wingless aphid. The average life-span of winged aphid in autumn is 58h(2~3h),average multiplication number is 5.6 nymphs(1-11 head 28~33℃),most are wingless aphid.ã€conclusion】The year occurrence peak of woolly apple aphid and the year migration peak is not synchronized, migration and community activities are mainly related to the number, and climatic factors dominate the amount. The daily migration of woolly apple aphid has its’own rhythm, the temperature is an important factor who limits the activities of woolly apple aphid. Winged aphid activity ability weakã€life-span shortã€propagate little,is not the main diffusive way of woolly apple aphid. Improve the standardization of orchard can do favor to the treatment of woolly aphid. |
