Accompanied by Growing urban modernization in china, the people’s requirements for spiritual level become higher and higher when they enjoy the high material life.Modern road system of city is a network that constitutes a harmonious living environment and the most important manner is acquainted with the cityscape and landscape environment. Naturally road environment has become special cognitive symbol. The green rate by seeling is from the human perception of the environment to consider, and it is constantly changing with the changes of time and space, is a dynamic measure of factors. Therefore, the level of green target rate makes up less than the stage to measure for the road greening design and road greening system from time and space, it has great significance on the national road greening system build the perfection.Chongqing, as the China’s the largest and most typical mountain city, is limited by topographic conditions and land resources and other restrictions, urban road green area accounted for the road total area of lower interest rates. This paper deals with the study of green rate by seeing, based on the major newly-built urban road in eight main urban areas of Chongqing and establishes a greening design mode is suitable for newly built urban road of Chongqing in the future.First of all, we summarized the theory and the basic characteristics about conformation and Influencing factors of green rate by seeing. On the one hand,this paper investigated the botanical design Overview of the newly built urban road and typical road landscape sequences, measured the green rate value by seeing in summer and give a reasonable range.On the other hand, this paper also put forward the different specifications of the species and botanical layout bring cha nges to green rate by seeing.Secondly, we evaluated scenic beauty of botanical landscape of urban road,by way of the SBE evaluation method.use the SPSS statistical software on the road scenic beauty of the quantitative and qualitative analysis, get Road greening configuration mode that is based on the green rate by seeing and scenic beauty of road.Finally, we summed up the greening design mode in the different requirements of road plate, botanical layouts, botanical specifications and planting spacing, based on the green rate by seeing and the scenic beauty evaluation of urban road greening design. Purpose is to provide a theoretical basis and practical method for urban road greening design and a new research direction for future road greening design.
