Perilla frutescens (L.) Britt. play a very important role at medicine,food,industry areas andso on. It not only have medicinal value, but also have the considerable economic value. P.frutescens product demand exceeds supply from the point of the supply and demand of themarket at present. So, it is imperative to strengthen cultivation of Perilla frutescens (L.) Britt.This paper studies the effect of fertilization on quality and production of P. frutescens. It alsocan provide some basis for cultivation of P. frutescens.The results of the study are as follows: in the investigation of biological indicators ofPerilla frutescens (L.) Britt.treatment group and control group was significant difference, anda slightly different between each treatment group, the treatment group4N: P: K is6:4:3(180g,120g,90g) combined with spraying B fertilizer was best and the height of Perillafrutescens (L.) Britt. is120.8cm, stem diameter0.95cm, blade length14.5cm, blade width10.6cm.In physiological indexes of P. frutescens, the pigment, soluble protein and soluble sugarcontent of treatment group4that N: P: K is6:4:3(180g,120g,90g) combined with sprayingB fertilizer were significantly higher than the control group, and they are11.143mg/g,27.73mg/g and0.822%, respectively.Biochemical index SOD activity and POD activity in Perilla study, treatment group4N: P:K is6:4:3(180g,120g,90g) combined with spraying B fertilizer is higher than the othergroups,the SOD activity and POD activity are244.4u/(g·min)、163.57u/(g·min). And theiractivity affected by N: P: K were greater than that addected by trace elements.In Perilla production survey found that when N: P: K is6:4:3(180g,120g,90g) in thetreatment group of4,5, and6is higher than others, and the spraying B fertilizer treatmentgroup4has the highest yield, the stems, the leaf, the seeds of P. frutescens can be up to487g,118g and13g.In the study of Perilla seed oil content, found that the content of trace elements of Perilla oileffect was not obvious, N: P: K ratio of6:4:3Perilla oil content is higher than other twoproportion, applying B fertilizer Perilla oil content more, among them the highest content oftreatment group4,42.6%.The thousand seeds weight is3.02g, the content of water is7.4%, the rate of germination is87.5%, purity is93.51%, respectively, in the treatment group4seed quality evaluation.
