Artificial reef is structure which is placed in natural water environment. Artificialreefs can optimize the environment of waters and attract the fish. The construction ofartificial reef is an important way to restore coastal ecological environment andprotect the fishery resources and alleviate the pressure of the fishing. The constructionof artificial reef received more and more attention in the domestic and oversea.Benthic algae are not only one of most important primary producer but also importantaquatic ecological chemical monitor. Benthic algae is artificial reef fish and fish lureof one of the biological factors of the environment is particularly important, also is thetarget of economic fish species of artificial reefs important food. They can providemicrohabitat the space for Fish and other aquatic organisms. They are sensitive to thechange of environmental factors and they are widely used in ecological monitoring.The composition and structure of benthic algae is the basic element to measure oceanfishery resources. The composition and structure of benthic algae is an importantresearch content to construct artificial reef and assess Marine ecological environment.Therefore, carries on the artificial reef ecology of benthic algae, to understand themechanism of artificial reefs, strengthen its ecological effect is of extremelytheoretical and practical significance.This paper based on2012to2013environmental factor survey data in WeiHaiport artificial reef area combined with the CANOCO software to introduce andanalyze WeiHai port of west south reef area north reef area and control area largebenthic algae and environmental factors. Preliminary study of WeiHai port of westsouth reef area, north reef area and control area environment factor conditions as wellas the seasonal variation of the benthic algae, is the research of artificial fish reefbenthic algae to provide the corresponding analysis results.First this paper introduces the definition of artificial reefs, rise, type, function,effect of trap evaluation methods and research status of artificial reef at home andabroad and the artificial reef ecology progress of benthic algae. Second, analysis of WeiHai port area of artificial reefs interannual variability ofsea water temperature is5.30~26.10, Salinity is31.00~33.75,1.20~4.00mtransparency.DO, inorganic nitrogen, phosphate, silicate winter than summer.Third this paper analyzes the WeiHai west port area of artificial reefs waters ofbenthic algae composition, community structure change and its relationship withenvironmental factors.25kinds of benthic algae were found, of which the herbaceousplant eelgrass1species,2belong to two kinds of alga,15genera and18species ofred alga,4genera and4kinds of brown algae door. The algae community diversityindex: spring> autumn> summer. Algae community richness index: spring> autumn>summer. Algae community evenness index: spring> autumn> summer. Analysis ofthree sea algae correlation between temperature and is the largest, followed by silicate,inorganic nitrogen.Last, according to the related research results, the full text is summarized, and putsforward some prospects for future related work.
