Inner Mongolia is rich in solar energy resources. Considered the limited conventional energy, environmental protection and sustainable development of economic, the application of solar energy in forage drying technology has practical significance.Active solar drying device is mainly consisted of a drying box, heat collecting device and a fan. Herbage dry product quality, cost is two indexes must be considered in drying operations, and the two indexes and forage drying process is directly related to the best matching relation, for solar drying process, the analysis and study of the needs of the solar drying equipment of each part of the condition, the subject is the National Natural Science fund project "the solar drying process of Alfalfa mechanism research and simulation" part of the content, according to the requirements of the project, the characteristics of climatic environment based on the local area, designed a small vertical two-way ventilation type alfalfa solar drying box, and on this device is studied the drying medium state distribution.(1) We design and produce a bidirectional ventilation function of small vertical alfalfa solar drying device. Inlet, exhaust drying box, select the same structure, double soft connection, so that the drying box flow is relatively uniform, the deep or bale when drying, through two-way ventilation way so that all parts of dry material drying uniformity; hierarchical multiple removable loading across the board design, to meet the requirements of monolayer and multilayer test Cao grass, segment, bale.(2) We could get drying box drying medium--hot air state distribution through the analysis of the no-load, thin, thick, double the test data. The test results show that the no-load test, the measuring point temperature, relative humidity trend is normal, the temperature and humidity distribution relative to the average. The double inlet mode beneficial to uniform distribution of temperature field; the thin layer test and thick test showed that:along the measuring point of airflow direction, more close to the air inlet temperature and humidity change more obvious changes in temperature and humidity, the air inlet is at the top of the same cross-section than other measuring points changes quickly, illustrate the different points at different drying rate; double test results show that: the airflow distribution is relatively uniform lower forage grass inside and have a better drying effect on the grass, moreover, the measuring point temperature and humidity change obviously near the middle region.
