Guangxi belongs to subtropical monsoon climate zone, heat enough, frost-free period lasts long, rainfall, and sunshine long. This area is suitable for the planting pitaya. According to the growth of pitaya status analysis, the key to affect the growth of pitaya is temperature. Based on the research of the growth conditions of pitaya, The meteorological indexes that affect the growth of pitaya include≥10℃accumulated temperature, mean annual temperature, the average temperature in January and80%reliability extreme minimum temperature.The research method of this paper is the method of GIS technology. The scientific methods are used to detect the correlation of climate resources and geographical factors. Using mathematical statistic method to establish the space analysis model, I will be1km×1km resolution data to the climate factors model, the1km x1km resolution data including altitude, latitude and longitude, determine the value of each meteorological resource allocation. And then to residual error correction, I make pitaya climate resources spatial distribution.By collecting the Guangxi fifty years of climate data, I analyzed the interannual variability of climate resources in Guangxi. According to a study for many years for pitaya planting in Guangxi, Guangxi pitaya production area can be divided into most feasible area, feasible area, next to feasible area and out of feasible area. I put forward the pitaya is suitable for cultivation in guangxi area layout and Suggestions.About my GIS method research has reference significance.
