In recent years, insufficient of alfalfa yield and excessive use of chemicalfertilizers not only bring environmental issues but also restrict the development ofanimal husbandry. How to improve the yield of alfalfa while reduce environmentalpollution is a challenging and urgent task. PGPR fertilizer as a safe, environmentfriendly and high-efficient for plant new fertilizer is great potential for reduceenvironmental pollution and improve the yield of alfalfa. In this paper we consider theissues of PGPR fertilizer impact on the growth and quality of alfalfa under the differentsoil conditions. This study explores a variety of PGPR and approaches impact on thealfalfa under the different soil conditions. The main contents are as follows:1. The effects of PGPR fertilizers on the growth and quality of alfalfa under thefarmland soil conditionAlfalfa(Medicago sativa L.)was used in this study. By inoculation alone ormix-inoculation of PGPR, we investigated effects of different treatments on plantgrowth (height and biomass) and quality (crude protein and crude fiber). The resultsindicate that, compared to control, all treatments promote plant growth, increase thequality of alfalfa, the alfalfa plants treated with bio-fertilizers M12L were significantlypromoted in height, with an increase of16.21%and11.58%, and hay yields was12730.16kg/hm2, with an increase of47.3%, the crude-protein content of alfalfa wasincreased with22.49%and14.71%, while the crude-fiber content was lower, and theywere reduced by9.99%and12.06%.2. The effects of PGPR fertilizers on the growth and quality of alfalfa under thesalinity soil conditionAlfalfa was used in this study under the salinity soil condition. By inoculationalone or co-inoculation of PGPR, we investigated the PGPR fertilizer adaptability andthe effects of different treatments on plant growth (height and biomass) and quality(crude protein and crude fiber). The results indicate that, compared to control, alltreatments promote plant growth, increase the quality of alfalfa. The alfalfa plantstreated with bio-fertilizers1M1L were significantly promoted in height, with anincrease of9.14%~20.57%, was3309.275kg/hm2,In addition, bio-fertilizers1M was significantly effect of alfalfa.3. The effects of PGPR fertilizers pelleting on the growth and quality of alfalfaIn order to reduce the impact of difficult in large scale and long-term storage forPGPR bacterial fertilizer, this study explore new application methods. Alfalfa was usedin this study under the farmland. By inoculation alone or co-inoculation of PGPR, weinvestigated the PGPR fertilizer adaptability and the effects of different treatments onplant growth (height and biomass) and quality (crude protein and crude fiber). Theresults indicate that, compared to control, all treatments promote plant growth, increasethe quality of alfalfa. PGPR fertilizer pelleting W2growth-promoting effect is mostobvious, the height and hay yields of alfalfa was increased with28%and30.06%, thecrude-protein content of alfalfa was increased with20.10%, while the crude-fibercontent was lower, and they were reduced by21.75%, description fertilizer pelletprocessing is an effective way to improve the yield and quality of alfalfa.
