Shanbainuo11is one of the representative varieties in northwest,China.The effects ofplant densities(37500、52500、67500plants/hm2) and fertilizer application (pure NPK216、324、432、540kg/hm2) on the agronomic traits,yield and quality of shanbainuo11werestudied in June2012in Yangling, Shaanxi.We also did some study about the comprehensiveevaluation of fresh eatable quality and optimum harvesting period,then got the followingconclusions:(1). Shanbainuo11as the summer maize, the suitable planting density is52500plants/hm2and the fertilization is432kg/hm2(N: P: K=2.5:1:1).(2). Fertilization have greater impact on the nutritional quality.When the fertilizerapplication (pure NPK216~540kg/hm2) range from216kg/hm2to540kg/hm2, soluble sugarand fat increased first and then decreased.When the fertilizer condition (pure N:240kg/hm2;P:96kg/hm2;K:96kg/hm2) at432kg/hm2, the nutritional quality is the best.(3). Effects of density and fertilization on the change of physiological characteristics.When the density is67500plants/hm2and the fertilization is540kg/hm2, leaf area index islarger then others. Dropped the fast in the late growth stage.(4). Waxy maize varieties evaluated comprehensive analysis methods should be based onthe relationship between yield and nutrient processing quality.Methods comprehensive analysis on eating quality by principal component analysis,the results show that A2B3(52500plants/hm2, fertilizer432kg/hm2) have the bestperformance.In conclusion, density and fertilization should be deployed to improve the process ofgrowth and development of each trait coordination, the right to choose the appropriate harvestperiod, a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of yield and quality in order to achieve themaximum economic benefits.
