In2011-2012, collecting153representative tobacco leaf samples from29county of Si Chuanprovince, using descriptive statistics analysis, discriminant analysis, multiple comparison, stepwiseregression and system clustering methods, tobacco quality and style characteristic research of Si Chuanprovince were carried on, which included comprehensive analysis of tobacco appearance, chemical,aroma, smoking quality, and so on, at the same time drawing Si Chuan province style characteristiczoning map and flue-cured tobacco quality zoning map, the style characteristic was divided into fivecharacteristics, and comprehensive quality of tobacco leaf was divided into three zones. Main conclusionswere as follows:1Tobacco overall condition analysis of Si Chuan provinceAppearance quality: each index score of middle tobacco leaves were higher, second was upperleaves and lower leaves was the lower. Score is higher, each part of tobacco leaf maturity, colorchromaticity score was overall low, and score of oil content and chromaticity was low in the lower lobe.Chemical composition: total sugar, reducing sugar, potassium decrease as part of the increase,nicotine and total nitrogen with rises; In upper leaves, content of nicotine, and total nitrogen wasrelatively higher, alkali nitrogen was on the high side of lower lobe, overall low was chloride content,starch content was appropriate as a whole.Smoking quality: the middle leaves was of good quality, which have enough aroma quantity,comfortable after-taste, slightly mixed gas and irritation, more delicate and medium sweet feeling, theoverall index were the best, and upper was second, the lower performance were slightly worse; Theaftertaste, mixed gas, irritating of the lower leaf was better than the upper part.Central lobe each index variation coefficient is relatively small, upper leaves lower leaf variationcoefficient is generally larger.2Si Chuan province tobacco leaf quality was classified into3quality types and5style characteristicareas.(1) Distribution of tobacco quality type:The first category:50%region of lu zhou Xu Yong county, part of Gu Lin county in southeast partof Si Chuan; Southwest of Si Chuan liang Shan, Ning Nan county,87.5%area of De Chang county,28.5%area of Pu Ge county,70%area of Hui Dong county,75%area of Hui Li county,1/3area of YanYuan county,20%area of Mian Ning county, Xi De county, Xi Chang,75%area of Yue Xi county, ZhaoJue county, Bu Tuo county, part of Gan Luo county,87.5%area of Mi Yi county and, Ren He, part area of Yan Bian county; South of Si Chuan part area of Xin Wen county,22.3%area of Jun Lian county,40%area of Gong county,66.7%area of Ping Shan county,50%area of Chang Ning county; North of SiChuan Yi Bin, Wang Cang county and part of Yuan Ba in Guang Yuan city, Above-mentioned areas weregood of tobacco comprehensive quality, the total average score was68.22, while appearance sored65.23,chemical scored76.14, smoking quality scored64.45.The second category:40%area of Xu Yong county,50%area of Gu Lin county in lu zhou city insoutheast part of Si Chuan; Southwest of Si Chuan liang shan, De Chang county,71%area of Pu Gecounty,20%area of Hui Dong county,17%area of Hui Li county,44.5%area of Yan Yuan county,60%area of Mian Ning county,25%area of Yue Xi county, Mei Gu county, part of Gan luo county, part of MiYi county and33.3%area of Yan Bian county in Pan Zhi hua city; South of Si Chuan Yi Bin,43.9%areaof Xin Wen county, part of Jun Lian county,60.5%area of Gong county, part of Ping Shan county; Northof Si Chuan Guang Yuan,50%area of Yuan Ba, part of Jian Ge county, Above-mentioned areascomprehensive quality scored65.57, appearance sored64.61, chemical scored69.89, smoking qualityscored63.36.The third category:10%area of Xu Yong county,37.5%area of Gu Lin county in lu zhou city insoutheast part of Si Chuan; Southwest of Si Chuan liang shan,10%area of Hui Dong county,8%area ofHui Li county,22.2%area of Yan Yuan county,20%area of Mian Ning county,50%area of Yan Biancounty in Pan Zhi hua city; South of Si Chuan Yi Bin,57.1%area of Xin Wen county, part of Jun Liancounty and Chang Ning county; North of Si Chuan Guang Yuan,33.3%area of Yuan Ba,85.7%area ofJian Ge county, Above-mentioned areas were relatively poor of tobacco comprehensive quality, the totalaverage score was62.51, appearance sored64.06, chemical scored63.89smoking quality scored61.06.(2)Characteristic style divisions of tobacco leaves of Si ChuanSouthwestern Sichuan Pan Zhihua and Liang Shan distributed Ι, Ⅱ, Ⅲtype area that sweet incense,green, woody nuances as the main sweet nuance, Edge of Sichuan Basin Ι, Ⅱ, Ⅲtype area that sweet andhay as the main nuances.Clear sweet incense Ι area had more sweet incense and less clear incense, clear sweet smell wassignificant, followed by woody and green. Mixed gas was not significant. Including southeast of Pan XiHui li, Hui Dong and Ning Nan. Above regions mainly distribute in the middle altitude area, the mainplanting tobacco soil were red soil, purple soil, yellow brown soil and brown soil.Clear sweet incense Ⅱ area clean and sweet rhyme rhyme achieved balance, clear sweet incense wasstill significant, woody and green was slightly significant, Nuances was more monotonous. slight waswoody gas, green hybrid gas. Including southeast De Chang, Pu Ge, Yan Yuan,Gan luo, Mi Yi, Ren He,Yan Bian. Above regions mainly distribute in the middle-high altitude area, the main planting soil werered soil, yellow brown soil and yellow soil.Clear sweet incense Ⅲarea showed clean and sweet rhyme alternately, clear sweet incense was a little significant. Mixed gas was relatively prominent. Including middle-northwest Pan Xi, Xi Chang, XiDe, Yue Xi, Mei Gu, Zhao Jue, Bu Tuo. Above regions mainly distribute in low elevation area, the mainplanting tobacco soil were purple soil (acid), red soil, yellow brown soil.Class Ⅳarea subject nuances were hay aroma and sweet, and mainly sweet, more sweet and littlegreen; Raw green gas was relatively prominent. Above regions mainly distribute in low elevation area YiBin and Guang Yuan, the main planting tobacco soil were yellow soil, purple soil, paddy soil andcalcareous purple soil.Class Ⅳarea subject nuances were hay aroma and sweet, and green and sweet rhyme achievedbalance, coke flavor was complementary. Earth smell of fish was relatively prominent. Above regionsmainly distribute in relatively elevation area Lu Zhou and Xu Yong, the main planting tobacco soil wereyellow soil, purple soil and paddy soil.
