400years of history has Dingbian potato cultivation，the production base has a naturaladvantage and suitable for planting potatoes.Large blocks of potato production,neat,high drymatter content,smooth surface，beautiful appearance,good taste,in the domestic market has ahigh reputation,becoming the biggest advantages of the county,most agriculturalcharacteristics of industrial development potential.2012,Dingbian potato planting area of125mu.The county’s20townships plantingpotatoes,16acres or more towns to achieve the scale of contiguous planting,a town the size ofcontiguous acreage over10acres,15towns over4acres,there are18towns over acres, hasfour specialized farm acreage over300acres, with more than3,000grower, planting area ofmore than100acres, planting potatoes per capita of about4acres. The county potato acreageaccounted for almost half of the county’s total acreage, accounting Yulin potato acreage40percent,accounting for10%of the province’s potato acreage, accounting for1.43per cent ofthe potato acreage,potato production in the province leader, was awarded the "National Tenpotato producing counties" Chinese potato.Although potato production Dingbian excellent natural conditions,but the overall level isrelatively low,therefore,Survey Research Dingbian cultivated potato production,identifyrestrictions Dingbian potato production problems and propose appropriate measures to makefull use of regional resources to improve the yield and quality of potato, potato Dingbianextend the industrial chain is significant.In this study,literature review,field surveys and questionnaires combined with the mainvarieties of potato acreage growth period, the average yield,soil fertility,fertilizer types,planting density,cultivation methods,pest control and other investigations.Survey involving ahigher level of nine potato townships,each township to select a village,each village randomlyselected10households,a total of90farmers in mind for the survey,questionnaire forms potatovarieties,fertilization case,pest control and other major technical aspects of the investigationand produced a "potato cultivation Dingbian Status questionnaire." Survey results show that the structure of a single species,varieties cultivated potatoesmixed Dingbian degradation Viru low coverage;sowing dates and late planting density is toosmall,fertilization unreasonable; management is more extensive,serious problemscropping.For detection of problems,studies suggest that the introduction of suitable varietiesshould be increased, especially the introduction of special varieties of processing;improvepenetration of virus-free seed, trengthen seed treatment; fine soil preparation before sowingdeep plowing,sowing partition; to reasonable rotation,reducing the occurrence ofdisease;close planting, dry density of3,200/acre,water in the open air planting density of4000plants/acre;the density of water to reach the5000/mu;overcome the tendency diazo lightpotash and phosphate,potash increased.
