Cerasus humilis is a kind of wild fruit tree resource, which is gradually revealed in recent20years in our country. The Cerasus humilis gets a density on single fruit spur, its fruit are small, soft and easy to be damaged. For years, the whole level of Cerasus humilis harvester mechanization is so low as to influence the development of Cerasus humilis industry. The current picking exists the labour intensity height and consuming abundant manpower and time by means of manpower mostly. What’s more, the delay of harvesting time results in fruits decay, causing a certain economic loss. As the planting area of Cerasus humilis is increasing, the picking mechanization is more and more important in the process of Cerasus humilis’s production.According to the growth characteristics and production status of the fruit, a prototype picking machine was developed in this study to achieve the mechanized picking of Cerasus humilis. The main contents are as follows:Through the experimental study of the biomechanical properties of Cerasus humilis, the force-deformation curve of two different maturity fruits when squeezed has been obtained, and mastered the change of stress of the fruit.The main structure and working principle of Cerasus humilis picking device are briefly analyzed, and the whole structure, transportation device, picking device of Cerasus humilis picking device are carried on the systematic elaboration. The working parameters and performance indicators of the machine are identified.The3D model of Cerasus humilis picking device is designed using the3D design software. The picking device, transportation device, vibrating screen device, and transmission system are drawn. With the virtual assembly, the3D model of the whole structure of the machine is building.The finite element method was carried out on the statics analysis and modal analysis of the frame. The maximum deformation and maximum stress of the frame in load are concluded, as well as the6order natural frequency and vibration model figure. Above all, the stability and rationality of the frame design can be evaluated.In the optimum experiment of performance parameter, this paper mainly describes the relationship of the parameters and performance indicators by orthogonal experiment of the main indexes (diameter of picking roller, rotational speed of picking roller, and feeding speed), the best working parameter values of the machine are achieved.The paper results offer the practice guidance for the Cerasus humilis picking device. For the same time, it offers the theory foundation and technology basis.
