| The growth state of maize is closely relevant to its accumulated temperature among all the factors that influence plants’growth, it is the accumulated temperature that casts the most influence, whether a kind of maize is suitable to be grown in a special area depends on the demand of accumulated temperature for different periods in the growth of the kind of maize. The optimal output can be gained if the accumulated temperature for the maize is known and accordingly arranged, to increase production in terms of applying accumulated temperature, researches on various polycarpic maize and their demand of accumulated temperature in different growth periods have been of great importance for cultivation of maize. In this paper, the author had an analysis of the demand of accumulated temperature for281kinds of polycarpic maize in Shanxi province between2012and2013, also the relevance between the demand of accumulated temperature and amount of leaves as well as the demand of accumulated temperature and days of growth period are analyzed the results show that:1. Under the temperature condition of taigu country shanxi province in2012,for the22so-early maturing maize varieties, from seeding to germination, from germination to spinning, from spinning to maturation of accumulated temperature is156.1℃ã€134.2℃ã€1378.6℃ã€2721.5℃; for the40early maturing ones, during different growth periods, moderate stability was there for the demand of accumulated temperature; from seeding to germination, from germination to spinning, from spinning to maturation of accumulated temperature is168.1℃ã€1467.0℃ã€1408.4℃ã€2875.4℃,while for the middle and late maturing ones, from seeding to germination, from germination to spinning, from spinning to maturation of accumulated temperature is171.2℃,1500.3℃1466.2℃,2966.5℃,different kinds of maize show, external temperature showing no obvious influence on them during this term, though the external temperature had greater influence during the period from spinning to maturation than from germination to spinning; for the summer-sown maize varieties, from seeding to germination, from germination to spinning, from spinning to maturation of accumulated temperature is173.6℃,1491.0℃,1484.0℃,2975.0℃,during all the three periods the accumulated temperature needed was not obviously influenced by the external temperature.2. Under the temperature condition of taigu country shanxi province in2013, for the so-early maturing maize varieties, the accumulated temperature needed during all the growth period just show that from seeding to germination, from germination to spinning, from spinning to maturation of accumulated temperature is166.4℃,1416.1℃,1171.8℃,2587.9℃, for the early maturing ones, during growth periods either from germination to spinning or from germination to maturation,173.8℃,1568.5℃,1207.9℃,2776.4℃, though from germination to spinning and from spinning to maturation, the demand of accumulated temperature fluctuates seriously; for the middle and late maturing ones,173.4℃,1636.8℃,1144.5℃,2781.3℃obvious fluctuation can be observed, which shows the same patterns to the early maturing ones; the summer-sown maize varieties show that177.1℃,1631.4℃,1164.0℃,2795.4℃。3. The amount of leaves of maize differ greatly as maize varies, but this is relatively steady in different years; for different maize varieties, their days of growth period and accumulated temperature from sowing to maturation differ obviously, which is relatively steady in different years. Through analysis, it was found that, though in different years, different maize varieties have their own relatively steady days of growth period, from sowing to maturation, their accumulated temperature is much steadier. Notable positive correlation was observed among the three factors, days of growth period, accumulated temperature from sowing to maturation as well as the amount of leaves for different maize varieties.4. Planting so-early and early maturity varieties will waste heat resources in taigu County,,while for the middle and late maturing ones and the summer-sown maize varieties accumulated temperature of utilization rate can reach80%, suitable for planting. |
