In Northwest China, the lack of water resources is very serious. And traditional fieldirrigation, furrow irrigation etc will cause serious waste of water resources. It also notconducive to the growth of crops, coupled with existing agricultural infrastructureconstruction in agricultural facilities, collecting information unstable, collecting dataincomplete, agricultural equipment costs unacceptable. So, in order to solve these problemsand developthemulti stable signal acquisition, the multi model control irrigation, low cost,greenhouse monitoring irrigation equipment, perfect control system are very important. Thedesign of intelligent irrigation control system is more automatic and intellective. It caneffectively save water resources, and improve the stability of farmland information detection.The main contents of this paper are:(1) Analysis the current situation and the development of agriculture in our country.Introduce the advanced technology application, the development of facility agriculture andadvanced equipment both here and abroad. Through the comparison to find out theinsufficient level of agricultural development in China, and combined with the actual situationof agricultural development in China to put forward the system.(2) The hardware design of the control system based on the proposed scheme. The coreof the system is STC90C516RD+microcontroller. It can collect many environmental factorsliketemperature, humidity etc, and stored data to personal computer. SCM(Single ChipMicrocomputer) will send collected data to the LCD(Liquid Crystal Display), it can also senddata to PC(Personal Computer)through the RS-485chip for long distance transmission.Realize the remote monitoring and control.(3) Software design and implementation. The main program will be regard as the core ofsoftware design, and the main program could in turn call every program modules. The mainprogram could decide every program modules’ order, sub program modules are unified by themain program calls. This design not only simplifies the preparation process, but also easy toadd new programs.(4)System test. In order to realize the communication between the host computer and thecontroller, we contact the two machines and test its performance. Controller could display theinformation, switch control the solenoid valves, realize the timing irrigation, the PC could receive the crop information, the work state of solenoid valves from the controller and sendcommands to the controller.System designcombine the single chip microcomputer control technology, sensortechnology, communication technology and computer technology, adopt the distributedirrigation, many sensors to collect information, the PC and controller remote control. Thesystem can process, store, record the data more comprehensive, real-time and automatic. Torealize the real-time, stability control for the temperature and humidity of the greenhouseenvironment. In order to achieve the greenhouse irrigation system automation and intelligencepurposes.
