There is a large planted area of crops in Xinjiang and northeast China which arevast. The labor intensity is big when planting crops artificially in large area. Thephenomenon of leakage planting exists by existing transplanter. This dissertationmainly deals with the design work of a new-type automated seedling transplanter tosatisfy the requirements of automated seedling transplanting. This transplanter canreplace a lot of artificial, improve the efficiency of planting, while solves the problemof tight farming season and big labor intensity.In this dissertation, the current problem in transplanting techniques home isanalyzed after contrasting the techniques between domestic and abroad. An automatedseedling transplanter is researched and designed. The device has three functionmodules including sorting module, transmitting module and transplanting module, amotion control system based on PLC is designed to complete automated sorting andtransplanting of seedling; A zero speed transplanting mechanism was also designed,for reduce the destruction of mulch when the duckbill-hopper drilling into the ground,besides, the verticality of seedling is assured. Finally, the simulation design ofautomated transplanter is completed by three-dimensional model software(Solidworks). The simulation result shows that the device can achieve each functionof automated, so that improving the efficiency of seedling transplanting is achieved,this dissertation will make a good guidance for the production of automatedtransplanter in future.
