Zhejiang Coastal Acete Chinensis Stow Nets Fishing Gear And Research

In the investigation and analysis on fishing gear structure, operating method,economic benefits, local fishery status and other aspects of acete chinensis stow net in Putuo District in Zhoushan City and Nanping Village, Mazhan Town, Cangnan County, Wenzhou City respectively done in November-December in 2012 and November in 2013, it finds out that:(1) there are 2 types of acete chinensis stow net in coastal areas of Zhejiang, respectively being single anchor beam type and single anchor sheet warp type;(2) there are 3 specifications, respectively being152.00m×29.32 m single anchor beam stow net, 171.00 m × 32.45 m single anchor sheet warp stow net and 184.5m × 34.15 m single anchor sheet warp stow net;(3)single anchor sheet warp stow net is better than single anchor beam stow net in terms of operation safety, and is easy to be operated;(4) acete chinensis stow net operation is very selective in fishing, 95% of fishing objects being acete chinensis, and also captures some small commercial fishes, such as benthosema pterotum;(5) acete chinensis stow net’s operating water depth is 20-30 m, which can flexibly select fishing ground, easy to be operated, with large net opening area and high economic efficiency.It draws a conclusion from the flume experiment when manufacturing single anchor acete chinensis sheet warp stow net and single anchor beam acete chinensis stow net in July, 2014 that: the main dimension of single anchor sheet warp stow net is similar with that of the single anchor beam stow net. They have the same mesh size and similar gear configuration. For single anchor stow net adopting canvas spreading device on both sides, incident flow area increases as the towing speed increases, while for single anchor beam stow net adopting moso bamboo spreading on bot sides,incident flow area decreases as the towing speed decreases. Fishing performance of single anchor sheet warp stow net is better than single anchor beam stow net.Research results can provide scientific reference for acete chinensis stow net operation in Zhejiang Province.
