Honeysuckle has a long history of medicinal, it’s stem, leaf and flower also can be used, it has the function of clearing away heat and toxic materials, broad-spectrum antibiotic, brain fitness and improving eyesight, and evacuating the cold. Aphids are the most important insects in Honeysuckle, And the Honeysuckle aphids occurred serious year by year, so how to effectively control the pest infestation, to ensure product quality and safety has become a honeysuckle production problems to be solved. The present study was to investigate the impact of different levels of aphids damage for the yield and quality of honeysuckle, and conduct the control techniques in dormancy. To identify the control effect on honeysuckle aphids and the insecticide residues in products of systemic insecticide thiamethoxam. This work studied on the application technology in root zone of thiamethoxam and imidacloprid to control aphids and on detection of pesticide residues in honeysuckle. And the integrated control method which applicable to Shandong honeysuckle aphid main producing areas were put forward. It is provided technical support to effectively control aphids honeysuckle and ensure product safety. The main results are as follows:1.Not only the weight and length of honeysuckle, but also component content was changed after the aphids. The treatment of low medium and high density has great influence on the yield and quality of honeysuckle, it’s weight decreased 32.6%, 15.9% and 7.2% respectively than control treatment after the aphids. it’s length decreased 37.61%, 14.96% and 9.83% respectively than control treatment after the aphids. The content of substances new chlorogenic acid chlorogenic acid rutin and luteolin decreased 25.63%, 32.79%, 31.35%, 30.38% high density than control treatment. The content of cryptochlorogenic acid caffeic acid quercetin improved 8.14% 0.21%, 9.09 % low density than control treatment. The content of isochlorogenic acid A isochlorogenic acid B isochlorogenic acid C improved 3.84%, 11.73%, 24.08% respectively medium density than control treatment.2. The reasonable pruning and spraying crystal calcium polysulfide is important measures for prevention and control of aphids. The quantity of mild pruning, moderate pruning and severe pruning reduced 19.87%, 66.25% and 19.87% respectively than the treatment of no pruning in May peak of Honeysuckle aphids occurred. Honeysuckle produce spraying crystal calcium polysulfide can obviously reduce the number of aphids in early spring.3. To identify the control effect on honeysuckle aphids and the insecticide residues in products of systemic insecticide thiamethoxam. This work studied on the application technology in root zone of thiamethoxam and imidacloprid to control aphids and on detection of pesticide residues in honeysuckle. The results indicated that the control effects on aphids of hole fertilization of 25% thiamethoxam WG 240g/667m2 and 10% imidacloprid WP 600g/667m2 were all over 98% at the early, middle and later stage of the honeysuckle aphids occurrence. Either of the hole fertilization or circling fertilization can control the aphids over the entire occurrence period after only once application of insecticide. The application technology of pesticide depended on the root distribution of different honeysuckle varieties.4.The results of residue determination showed that drug residues of thiamethoxam and imidacloprid up to the largest after 20 days applicated in root zone, were 0.873 mg/kg, 1.252 mg/kg and 0.13 mg/kg, 0.326 mg/kg at the active ingredients 60g/667m2 and 120g/667m2 respectively. Root application of pesticide can ensure the product safety and should be extended in honeysuckle production. The integrated control method which applicable to Shandong honeysuckle aphid main producing areas were put forward. It is provided technical support to effectively control aphids honeysuckle and ensure product safety.
