In this study, the ‘Hongxing’ pear(Pyrus communis) was used as maternal parent, and the Abate Fetel pear, Cascade pear,XP-3 pear,Zaosuhong pear,Bartlett pear,Sanji pear,Hulu pear were used as male parent for pollen viability determination. Simultaneously, the ‘Dangshan’ pear(Pyrus bretschneideri Rehd.) was used as material, by sprayed different growth regulator to induced parthenocarpy. The main results were as follows:1.In the pollen viability determination,there are some difference among the results of I-KI staining method,TTC staining method, red-ink staining method, and red-ink staining method reached highest average value. Abate Fetel pear and Cascade pear pollen have better pollen viability than others. And XP-3 which was the lowest.2.The ‘Hongxing’ pear was used as maternal parent which was bagged isolation earlier, and self pollination and artificial pollination. It showed that self-cross of ‘Hongxing’ pear was incompatible and should configure pollination tree. Abate Fetel pear and Cascade pear have nice pollination-affinity with ‘Hongxing’ pear(Abate Fetel 87.50%, Cascade 94.83%) and they should be taken as the pollination varieties, but XP-3 was not as good as any other 7 varieties in the pollination-affinity with ‘Hongxing’ pear, it cannot be used as the pollenizer.3.There were no fruit without spraying growth regulators on Dangshan pear by bud bagging; this showed that Dangshan pear was self sterile varieties. There were different fruit rate by spraying different concentrations and different growth regulators on bagged Dangshan pear. Natural pollination was 40.44%, while with the growth regulator treatment, the average fruit set ratio was about 68%, and using GA4+7 50mg/L processing, the ratio as high as 98.85%. Processing of fruit containing GA4+7 was higher than the treatment with GA3, the average fruit set ratio were 85.9% and 49%. Probably because GA3 spray was less, and in the first drop after the fruit fell sharply. Adding BA in the treatment which containing GA3 or GA4+7, while the effect of fruit setting were 97% and 77.8%.4.Fresh weight values, polar and equatorial lengths, total soluble solids content, fruit hardness, stalk length, stalk diameter, core diameter of ‘Dangshan’ pear. There were the normal seeds in the fruit of spontaneous pollination, and there were no seeds in the fruit of GA4+7 treatment groups. The result showed that GA4+7 might induce parthenocarpy of Dangshansu pear. The use of growth regulators could increase the soluble solids, 12.4% higher than the average of 11.4% in the CK group. But there were no need to used the higher concentration, it can increase the cost, and no obvious improvement on the quality and yield of fruit. And 50 mg /L to 75 mg /L GA4+7 can be used in the production. The use of growth regulators made fruit diameter ratio increases, the fruit became long or thin than the CK group. In addition, treatment group also can reduce the fruit core diameter, the GA4+7 25 mg /L processing core diameter of only 15.21 mm.5.The determination of the Dangshan pear fruit’s hardness and soluble solids content was proceeded after 3 months of low temperature storage. Overall, the fruit hardness was lower than fresh fruit hardness, and the CK, GA4+7+TA and GA4+7+SM treatment groups decrease by 0.6 kg / cm 2 more than other groups obviously. The content of soluble solids decreased than fresh fruit, the CK was lower than the treatment group. And with the treatment of GA4+7 75 mg /L, soluble solids content have a great difference.
