In this study,non-pregnant Shaanbei white cashmere goats were used in three independent experiments to estimate the effects of dietary nutrition level on main nutrients intake, growth performance and economic benefits of goats, aiming to provide the theory basis for formulating feed for Shaanbei white cashmere goats. Test1.Effects of dietary energy and protein level on main nutrients intake, growth performance and economic benefits of Shaanbei white cashmere goatsA total of 45 one-year-old non-pregnant ewes with similar body weight were divided randomly into 5 groups(3 replicates each group,3 ewes each replicate).Ewes in different groups were feed on diets with 95 %,100 %,105 %,110 % and115 % of the recommended nutrition level by NRRS.The whole feeding trail lasted 40 days with 10 days for adjustment. At the end of the trail, one ewes in each replicate was selected to suffer the digestion and metabolism trail. The results showed that:(1) With the increase of the dietary energy and protein level, the DMI was increased from the lowest(95 % group) and reached the peak at 100 % group and then declined gradually.105 % group is the next, and in the order are 110 % group,115 % group and 95 % group.(2) With the increase of the dietary energy and protein level, the apparent digestion and digestive metabolic rate of the goat increased at first and then decreased. The change pattern of DMI was the same as that of DE/GE and basically the same as that of DCP/CP and ME/DE. The peak is 105 % group,100 % group is the next, and in the order are 110 % group,115 % group and 95 % group.(3) With the increase of the dietary energy and protein level, the MEI and DCPI increased at first and then decreased. The change pattern of MEI was the same as that of DMI and DE/GE.The change pattern of DCPI was the same as that of DCP/CP and ME/DE.(4) With the increase of the dietary energy and protein level, daily increase weight, diet conversion ratio and transformation efficiency of energy and protein were increased from the lowest(95 % group)and reached the peak at 105 % group and then declined gradually.(5) The suitable safety allowance of energy and protein level of non-pregnant Shanbei White Cashmere goats was 5 %. Test2. Effects of diet energy concentration on main nutrients intake, growth performance and economic benefits of Shaanbei white cashmere goatsA total of 45 one-year-old non-pregnant ewes with similar body weight were divided randomly into 5 groups(3 replicates each group, 3 ewes each replicate). Ewes in different groups were feed on diets with 9.35MJ/Kg、9.85MJ/Kg、10.35MJ/Kg、10.85MJ/Kg and 11.35MJ/Kg digestible energy. The whole feeding trail lasted 40 days with 10 days for adjustment. The results showed that:(1)In this study, with the increase of dietary energy level, the production of dietary nutrient intake of the tested sheep, apparent digestibility and feed conversion efficiency of the main nutrient intake, conversion efficiency of protein and energy were first increased and then decreased. the order was 45321 and dietary energy level of 110 % NRRS reached its peak.(2)Although gain weight, feed conversion efficiency and economic benefit five experimental groups were first increased and then decreased, the order of the specific change was not exactly the same when dietary energy level of 110 %NRRS reached its peak.(3)The production performance and economic benefit as the evaluation index, when the dietary protein level of 100 %NRRS conditions and dietary energy level of 110 %NRRS, the production performance and economic benefits were the best in pregnant period in Northern Shaanxi cashmere goat. Safety margin of dietary energy level to 10 %was more appropriate. Test 3. Effects of M-fermented corn straw on main nutrients intake, growth performance and economic benefits of Shanbei white cashmere goatsTo estimate the application value of EM-fermented corn straw for Shanbei White Cashmere goats,a total of 16 one-year-old healthy ewes were divided into 2 group, with 8 replicates per group. The basic diet contained 200 g alfalfa hay and 200 g concentrate supplement. The goats were fed on basal diet + corn straw and were accessible to take corn straw in Contrast group and basal diet + EM-fermented corn straw in Experimental group, the experiment lasted 40 d including 18 d adjustment. The results showed:(1)Under the condition of feeding EM-fermented corn for non-pregnant Shanbei White Cashmere goats, the DMI,DMD,CPD,DEM were 22.53 %, 3.65 %, 4.18 %, 8.02 %, 2.67 % higher than that in Contrast group.(2) The MEI, DCPI of Experimental group were 20.05 %(P<0.05), 21.22 %(P<0.05), higher than that of Contrast group.(3)The ADG,WGI of Experimental group were 104.09 %(P<0.05), 0.57 %(P<0.05) higher than that of Contrast group.(4)Through EM-fermented corn straw to improve the palatability of the feed and the metabolism rate of the main nutrient are the main method to improve the intake for non-pregnant Shanbei White Cashmere goats and the effective way of production performance and economic benefit.
