The connecting rod is one of the main drive of internal combustion engine parts, the processing technology of the connecting rod of the fixture design and finite element analysis is mainly discussed in this paper. Requirements for the dimensional accuracy, shape accuracy and position accuracy of the connecting rod is very high, the connecting rod to the rigid relatively poor, prone to deformation, therefore in the process of design, we must separate the main connecting rod surface rough machining process and machining process. Step by step reduces the removal allowance, cutting force and the role of internal stress and deformation compensation, after processing, in order to make the engine parts meet technical requirements. In this paper, the internal combustion engine connecting rod as the research object, using three-dimensional modeling software PRO/E to establish three-dimensional model, and then use the PRO/MECHANICA module PRO/E for finite element analysis is consistent with the actual. Through the finite element analysis on the link up two working off during processing, and get the deformation, the corresponding link stress and displacement distribution, the analysis of two cases of optimal conditions were compared and analyzed in detail the optimal operating conditions. Based on the finite element calculation results that the reliability is verified, and searching for the dangerous area. This method can effectively evaluate the whole, link up safety fault processing time.
