Link is one of the most important parts of the engine, the piston rod to withstand theforce of gas coming from the pin during operation, the connecting rod reciprocating inertiaforce of the piston inertia force and the group itself caused to swing, and the size anddirection of presentation cyclical changes. Therefore, the compression, tension, bending, etc. alternating load, the role of the strong linkage of the connecting rod must havesufficient stiffness and strength. Especially to improve the engine power after the gaspressure will also rise, making it more vulnerable to structural damage, therefore, the linkstrength analysis is essential, in order to enhance the power of determining the whether thelink has a sufficient strength and stiffness. With the development of computer technology, the role of finite element analysis engine component design and the process has becomeincreasingly important.Based on the actual basic dimensions YC6105ZLQ diesel engine connecting rod, theuse of3D modeling software UG8.0first create a three-dimensional model, withoutaffecting the results of the prerequisite for proper analysis in order to simplify thecalculation, and then use the model to import interface technology Finite element analysissoftware ANSYS12.0, the constraints and loads applied to it, the three-dimensional finiteelement analysis. Through the finite element analysis of the link, the link to get the force indifferent conditions, as well as the various conditions of displacement and stress cloud, andby calculating the various parts of the pull rod compression fatigue safety factor, to verifybasic greater than the allowable value, the result showed that the strength of the link undernormal conditions to meet the requirements.
