This study was aimed at use bean dreg as raw material,producing a ruminant’s protein feed through solid-state fermentation. But because of the character high-moisture content,we use bran as auxiliary material, then the water content will be adjusted to 60%-70%FM,and make it substratum of solid-state fermentation(biomass material). In this experiment,we using Geotrichum candidum and Candida utilis as fermentation strain. Then researched the two strain’s growth characteristic and opitimized the conditions of mixing ratio and sterilization method. In order to find a new method to producing a ruminat feed that retains the original nutritional components, lower p H value and storage time longer. On the basis of retain the original nutrients,and improving the utilization rate of nutrients as much as possible. After optimization, the product will be compared nutrient’s parameter and rumen degretation’s parameter with Huasen bean dregs and biomass material. There are three parts in the experiment. Through the three parts as surport and technical basis to producing ruminant feed.Exp.1 Nutrition value of the materials in fermentation substrateThe nutrient component of the bean dregs, the bran and the biomass materials(adding 25 % bran) in fermentation substrate was analyzed by chemical analysis methods. adding 25% bran as absorbent method, the water will be adjusted to 65% FM. Then we have a good knowledge of these materials. The results of the test shows that bean dregs contains plenty protein and eminent amino acid composition. The nutrition is balanced and abundant, and has a great value for utilization. Combined with its high nutrition composition was suit to the solid-state fermentation experiment.Exp. 2 Optimization of the solid-state fermentation conditionsIn this experiment report the technology of using the 65 % water content biomass material in exp.1 as raw material,applying solid-state fermentation technology to produced protein feeds. We study the fermentation process conditions of bean dregs by Geotrichum candidum and Candida utilis, and optimized the conditions. Through the single factor experiment,use the inoculated as a comparation group.The suitable proportion,inoculation time and sterilization methods were optimized though mixed fermentation.Effect degree of becteria amount, water content, fermentation temperature and time on viable count and p H value were analyzed respctively though orthogonal test. The optimum technological condition has been obtained through the test,the product retains the original nutritional components, lower pH value and storage time longer.The test results showed that when the percentage of Geotrichum candidum and Candida utilis is 75%:25%, the viable count of fermentation product was highest(p<0.05). The best inoculation time is 5 hours for Geotrichum candidum, 24 hours for Candida utilis. The best sterilization method is autoclave at 100℃ for 5 minutes. After opitimized, the best fermentation condition is 10%, tempreture is 35℃,the fermentation time is 72 hours.Exp.3 Nutrition component and ruminal degradation of fermentation product.This experiment aims to by measuring the normal before and after fermentation and huasen feed nutrition ingredient and the regularity of rumen degradation, to estimate fermentated feed nutritional value. Adopting laboratory chemical analysis methods to analyze the fermentation product,by thoughing the nylon bag method to analyzed the ruminal degradation of three feeds in rumen.The experimental animals were three Holstein cows which fitted with permanent rumen fistula.The result of normal nutrition component showed that the fermentation product romved the bad smell, lower pH value and make the time of storage longer. It has fluffy texture. Higher level crude potein and increase 8-9 percentage points. the results of degradation in the rumen shows that DM,CP and NDF effective degradability of fermented feed higher than unfermented feed;.but CP effective degradability was lower than Huasen bean dreg.To sum up, after solid-state fermentation,the viable count and rumen microbes living bacterium total effective degradation rate were improved significantly, and in addition to the bad smell of fermentation materials, retained the protein and crude fiber and reduce pH value. As a result, improve the palatability of fermentation materials by solid state fermentation and the product retains the original nutritional components, lower pH value and storage time longer.nutritional value, storage time is extended. For fermented bean dregs in ruminant feed utilization provides reference.
