Selenium is one of the essential trace elements in human body, and selenium is also proved to be associated with certain kinds of human disease Such as Keshan disease and Kashin disease which are related with selenium lacking. Two-thirds of China are suffered from the lack of of selenium. Use the plant as the carrier, It is an economical way for human beings to ingest selenium through eating Se-enriched foods. Se-enriched tea combines selenium and tea together, which processes double benefit to human health. It can help people improve selenium nutritional level from drinking Se-enriched tea.Through the study of Se-enriched tea samples collected from eight counties (districts) of tea production areas of Southern Anhui (Huangshan, Jiuhua Mountains) has been analyzed, the influence factors of tea selenium contents has been studied:factors such as the picking parts and picking season as well as soil selenium contents, soil pH, soil organic matter, soil total nitrogen and soil NPK contents. The following conclusions have been obtained:1、In these study areas, both of the soil selenium and tea selenium content are high. The selenium contents in the soil are between 0.276mg/kg and 2.07mg/kg, and their average is 0.680mg/kg. All the areas’ soil selenium contents are more than 0.4mg/kg among which the soil selenium contents of Shitai county is of the highest, its soil selenium contents reaches 1.898mg/kg. Tea selenium contents in these areas are between 0.098 mg/kg and 0.902mg/kg, their average selenium content is 0.295mg/kg. Tea selenium contents county (district) are higher than 0.2mg/kg, some parts of these areas tea selenium content achieved 0.25mg/kg of the Se-enriched tea standards, Tea selenium contents of Shitai which reaches 1.898mg/kg county is the tallest one of these counties, These study areas have the potential of developing Se-enriched tea.2、Both of different parts of tea and picking season had a significant effect on the selenium contents of tea. Selenium contents of old leaves are higher than new leaves in the tea, Selenium contents of autumn tea are higher than spring tea. And the divergence of the new leaf and old leaf、autumn tea and spring tea are of significant level(P<0.05), some parts of them are of very significant(P<0.01).3、Tea selenium contents are also greatly affected by soil selenium contents. Tea selenium contents have a positive relationship with soil selenium contents, and the correlation coefficient is 0.9784. Tea selenium contents would increase in pace with soil selenium contents increase. And with different soil selenium contents, the increasing trend of tea selenium contents are also different. When the selenium contents of the soil are less than 1.2945mg/kg, tea selenium will increase significantly; When the soil selenium content is more than 1.2945mg/kg, the tea selenium content increase becomes slower.4、Soil pH has a significant effect on the tea selenium contents, There is notable positive correlation between them, and the correlation coefficient is 0.7813.5、Soil organic matter has a positive effect on tea selenium contents, there is a positive correlation between soil organic matter contents and tea selenium contents, the correlation coefficient is 0.8895.6、Soil total nitrogen、effective phosphorus、effective potassium have significant effect on the tea selenium contents. There is a significant positive correlation between soil total nitrogen and tea selenium contents, and the correlation coefficient is 0.8394; Soil effective phosphorus content and tea selenium contents show positive correlation, with different phosphorus, the correlation coefficients are all high, they are 0.9086、0.8210 and 0.8514 respectively; Soil effective potassium contents and tea selenium contents exist positive correlation, when the potassium in the high level, the correlation coefficient is 0.8358, when it in the low level, the positive correlation coefficient is 0.7344.7、Soil available sulfur contents have a negative impact on the selenium contents of tea, when soil available sulfur contents are high, the selenium contents of tea are low. There is a negative correlation between them, the correlation coefficient R is 0.8465.8、Soil available copper, available zinc, available iron, available manganese available boron had no significant effect on tea selenium contents, the correlations of them are obvious, The correlation coefficients are 0.0346,0.0265,0.1643,0.0686 and 0.2963.
