Panax notoginseng (Burk.)F.H.Chen, which belongs to belongs to the genus Panax of the family Araliaceae, is grown in Baise of Guangxi province, and is a kind of rare Chinese medicinal materials. To investigate the connection between Panax notoginseng continuous cropping obstacles and the rhizosphere microorganisms, the changes of microbial species and their physiological activity of the rhizosphere soil, which sampled form rhizosphere soil of different plant ages and continuous plantation years, were studied in this paper,The results indicated that as follows:1. With the increase of the plant age, the number of rhizosphere bacteria, fungi and actinomyces were reduced, and the order of the size was:CK (never planted)> 1 year grown plant> 2 year grown plant> 3 year grown plant. The result indicated that Panax notoginseng plant age had a great influence on its rhizosphere microorganisms.2. With the increase of the plant age, catalase, urease, phosphatase activity, and pH were lower, and the order was:CK ((never planted)> 1 year grown plant> 2 year grown plant > 3 year grown plant. The result indicated that the plant age can inhibit the rhizosphere soil enzyme activity and reduce the soil pH.3. Continuous plantation year of Panax notoginseng had significant effect on the number of rhizosphere bacteria, actinomyces. The research showed that the number of rhizosphere soil bacteria and actinomycetes were reduced. After the soil restoring from harvesting Panax notoginseng, two kinds of rhizospheric microbia, their numbers were increased, the order was: CK2 (Never planted)> the soil restoring from harvested Panax notoginseng> 2 years of continuous cropping> 3 years of continuous cropping. The result indicated that continuous cropping make the growth of rhizosphere bacteria, actinomyces restrained, after harvesting Panax notoginseng, their number of picks up.4. With the increase of continuous cropping, the number of rhizosphere fungi increased, and it was in direct proportion to continuous cropping. After the soil restoring from harvesting Panax notoginseng, fungi quantity was less. The results showed that continuous cropping was beneficial to the growth of fungi, after harvesting Panax notoginseng can reduce the number of fungi.5. Continuous plantation year of Panax notoginseng had effect on catalase, urease, phosphatase activity and pH. With the increase of continuous cropping, they were lower, but after harvesting Panax notoginseng they had rising trend, the order was:CK 2(Never planted) > the soil restoring from harvesting Panax notoginseng> 2 years of continuous cropping> 3 years of continuous cropping. The results showed that Continuous cropping inhibit the rhizosphere soil enzyme activity and reduce the soil pH, after harvesting Panax notoginseng can change this phenomenon.6. The number of fungi and bacteria gradually reduce, with the increase of temperature and rainfall. Then with the decrease of the temperature drop and rainfall, bacterial and fungal population rebound. The number of actinomycete, with the increase of temperature and rainfall, appear to reduce at first, then rising trend. Then with the decrease of temperature and rainfall, the number of actinomycete appear to reduce and then rising trend. The result showed that climate had significant influence on rhizosphere soil microbial community structure.
