In the process of cuttings propagation of Alfalfa, cutting survival rate is highest in greenhouse environment, and has less demage when transplanting to the alfalfa field.Mddle section should be selected when cutting in the field.Also it is more easy to survive if it has certain degree of hard stems with 2 leaves. Through the research on the yield and agronomic traits, growth rate, plant height, branch number, stem diameter was significantly correlated with dry weight per plant.In the 10 Alfalfa hybrid,10×M6 and 5 ×M3 have the highest protein content, the crude fiber of combinations of 12×1 was the highest. Through membership function analysising nutritional quality of 10 hybrid combinations. It finds the comprehensive nutrition quality of 5×M3 and 10×M6 is the best.Through the determination and selection in early generation, It can screen superior hybridized combinations faster and more accurate. This study on 10 Alfalfa hybrid combinations and their 13 parents as various characters analysis of the 3 major yield traits and general combining ability and special combining ability. The results show that: combinations of 5×M3 and 10×M6 are the best, the branch number and plant height are the main traits of Alfalfa forage yield formation. when the forage yield traits of the parents have higher general combining ability, the combination has superior probability to obtain a large of to obtain. but also to consider the effect of the special combining ability, it will have a combination of forage yield heterosis in the combinations of special combining ability.Based on the 10 hybrid combinations of photosynthetic physiological characteristics of the study, it finds that the net photosynthetic rate and intercellular CO2 concentration and transpiration rate shows a dominant negative correlation. The intercellular CO2 concentration and stomatal conductance are positively correlated. Chlorophyll content is negatively correlated with plant height, and dry weight per plant was positively correlated.Comprehensive evaluation of 10 Alfalfa hybrid combination shows that 5 × Ⅴ,13 × M2,2 × Ⅱ,5 × M3 are strong heterosis combination in production and nutritional quality.
