| Aim to study the effects of weaning stress on growth performance and early weaning diarrhea on intestinal morphology and intestinal flora in piglets, experiment was conducted as follow.Part I:This experiment was conducted to study the effects of weaning stress on growth performance and plasma parameters in early-weaned piglet.3nests21days weaning age’s piglets with the same batch of the same species, body condition similar to healthy piglets were selected into the study. According to the piglet diarrhea cases, these piglets were divided into group(diarrhea group), group Ⅱ (healthy group), and6piglets in per group. Set out and recorded the scale of feeding exactly everyday for each units during the experiment.24daily age was the test Id, counting the average daily feed intake (ADFI) in the early days(1-7d), later period(8-14d) and the whole period (1-14d).Weigh the piglets’weight on an empty stomach at8:00am in the Id,8d,15d, counting the average daily gain and (F/G) every stage. Meanwhile, collect each test piglets’blood from vena cava anterior in the first day at8:00am, detecting the blood routine and blood biochemical indicators. Results:Diarrhea piglets compared to healthy piglets, the daily gain decreased23.2%and efficiency of feed utilization decreased11.4%and the incidence of diarrhea up to33%. Diarrhea piglets’RBC, MCV and HGB were under the healthy ones significantly (P<0.05). WBC, LYM, GRA are exceed the healthy ones highly significantly or significantly (P<0.01or P<0.05). The content of diarrhea piglets’ALP is under the healthy ones significantly (P<0.05), AST, TP, GLB are upper the healthy ones significantly (P<0.05).Part II:This experiment was conducted to study the effect of early weaning diarrhea on erythrocyte immune in piglets.12healthy three-way crossbred piglets were selected from the same litters. The erythrocyte immune was examined in weaning stress piglets in3days pre-weaning,3days and two weeks post-weaning. Diarrhea piglets’C3bR rosette in3days and two weeks post-weaning was extremely significantly lower than3days pre-weaning’s (P<0.01), and their ICR rosette in3days post-weaning was significantly lower than3days pre-weaning’s (P<0.05). Both the diarrhea piglets’ C3bR rosette and ICR rosette in3days pre-weaning,3days and two weeks post-weaning were significantly lower than healthy ones:(P<0.01or P<0.05).Part III:This experiment was conducted to study the effect of early weaning diarrhea on intestinal morphology and intestinal flora in piglets. Six21days old early weaning diarrheal piglets were selected, and used the intestinal tissue as a model for histopathological observation and intestinal flora determination. The result showed that early weaning diarrheal piglets had mild serous catarrh in their duodenal mucosa. The mucosa presented caryolysis, few microvilli, and had its epithelial exfoliated; The jejunum and ileum had their microvilli exfoliated and coagulative necrosis on the apex; There were a large number of neutrophils and macrophages infiltration in the lamina propria of jejunum and rectum. All intestine segments appeared changes of microstructure such as congestion, hemorrhage, edema and vacuoles degeneration. Compared with the healthy piglets, the quantity of bacteroides, coli, clostridium was significant increased (P<0.05) while the quantity of bifidobacterium and lactobacillus was decreased significantly(.P<0.05) in early weaning diarrheal piglets’ intestine segments. Conclusion:With the weaned stress on these pigs, causing their lowered immunity, subjected to pathogen attack, the last diarrhea to dehydration, the organs of different degrees of damage, lea ding to severe inflammation, growth performance degradation and so on. Causing serious hurt the body. The lower immune function of erythrocyte in piglets, the easier cause of diarrhea piglets by weaned-stress of piglets. Early weaning diarrhea could aggravate diarrhea by causing intestine damage and flora imbalance. |
