The Wuqi County Afforestation Tree Species Planning

Based on abundant research and the collection of data and analysis on the tree species inthe gardens of Wuqi County, this essay aims at planning the garden tree species of Wuqi, andproviding the basis and some initial values for Wuqi’s planning of green spaces system andthe construction of parks and gardens.The results of the survey are as follows:1. There are97landscape tree species in Wuqi,58genera and31families.Among them,67kinds are arbors,28kinds are frutexes, and two kinds are lianas;20kinds are evergreentrees,77species are deciduous trees, and16kinds are local tree species. The ratio of trees andshrubs is1to0.42, while the ratio of evergreen and deciduous tree species is1:3.85.2. Compared with Yingchuan and Yanan, the application of greening tree species inWuqi is relatively smaller. The landscape diversity is relatively lacking, and there are morefoliage plants and fewer flower plants, the trunk and fruit plants are the fewest.3. There are71landscaping tree species which are suitable to be planted here in Wuqi,including4kinds of evergreen trees,67deciduous trees species;38frutexes,29arbors, and4vines.4. As for tree configuration, the proportion between evergreen species and deciduousspecies is1:2, the proportion of the number of evergreen trees and deciduous ones is2:3;Arbor and shrub species is1:1; Trees and shrubs and application is7:3; fast-growing trees andthe slow–growing ones is2:1; the proportion of the number of fast-growing trees and the slowones is7:35. We should plan key tree species including pagoda tree, weeping willow, pinustabulaeformis, and spruce, dominant trees, trees species on the street in Wuqi included,common tree species and colored tree species.
