An Investigation Of Garden Tree Species Resources In Jing County Anhui Province

Garden species is an important part of the landscape green space system.It is basic to construct high-grade,various functions completed,suiting local characteristics by choosing proper garden trees and scientific plan.Species investigation is the premise of scientific and reasonable tree species planning.By searching tree species in Jing County area,Anhui province,screening a number of good landscape tree species,use and configure them to set landscape with nice landscape effect,good ecology,notable features,various of artistic forms and protective functions.Nowadays,the construction of city landscape in Jing County develops quickly.With the beautiful county construction of Anhui province,the demand of tree species becomes more and more varied;because of lack of tree species planning,there are many problems in green construction such as dull forms,using the same kinds of trees,Massive deployment of exotic tree species,ignorance of ecological construction and so on.Nowadays,the quality requirements of Jing County city landscape construction is keeping promoting,With the Construction of Beautiful County of Anhui province and Forest Village,the demand of tree species becomes more and more varied;because of lack of tree species planning,there are many problems in green construction such as dull forms,using the same kinds of trees,Massive deployment of exotic tree species,less use of characteristic native tree species,ignorance of ecological construction and so on.The author field investigates natural distribution of tree species and the use of tree species in urban green area,including factors like the species,growth status,operational mode,the main community types and so on.At the same time,the author fully investigates the total species resources and ancient and famous trees in Jing County,then calculate,analysis and evaluate these research result.At last,this paper come to conclusion:(1)there are 109 departments,247 genus and 487 species of tree species of field distribution in Jing county.(2)Research of ancient and famous trees in Jing County.This research contains 176 trees,involving 36 species.(3)There are 37 departments,65 genus and 100 species of common cultivated species in Jing county.(4)The total of all kinds of forest volume is 5972105.5 cubic meter.(Survey data from two,2013)(5)The total forest biomass of Jing county is 10565128.73 T,The total amount of carbon sink is 5282564.36T,Carbon density is 36.95T·hm-2.(Survey data from two,2013).(6)Site conditions in Jing county,the main forest community types are:a.coniferous forest;b.coniferous and broad leaf mixed forest;c.broad-leaved evergreen forests,deciduous broad-leaved forest,deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest;d.coppice,shrub forest;e.bamboo forest;f.economic forest.(7)According to the investigation of garden trees species in Jing county,the author field investigates four types of green land constructed well in town:a.Park green space;there are many problems existed,for example volume per unit area is low,adaptable trees are not used,trees suffered from freeze injury because of the improper selection of trees,exotic tree species are used too much,too much hard revetment has been used.b.Productive plantation area;Mostly pick wide big seedlings and then cultivate them.c.Protective green;Tree species are used too little.d.attached green space;There are a lot of problems existed,for example,many border trees are planted in single line,trees suffer from freeze injury,trees grow poor,exotic tree species are used too much,arbor-shrub-grass compound land is less,unit area of tree species is low,volume per unit area(biomass)is low.As a result,present situation of city green space system should be improved;the species of city garden trees applied should be abundant,and local tree species could be used largely to reflect the local cultural characteristics of Jing county;cultivate local valuable and rare tree species;Strengthen the consciousness of constructing ecological garden.(8)Landscape tree species planning in Jing county divided into dominant species like Pteroceltis tatarinowii Maxim,Ginkgo biloba L,Koelreuteria,Cinnamomum camphora(L.)Presl,Ligustrum lucidum Ait,Ligustrum lucidum;constructive species has divided into border tree,Hedgerow trees,Flower shrubs,Vertical greening tree species,Wood locally and so on.Companion trees are mainly common ecological trees in Jingxian(details refer tothe appendix 2).Characteristic trees are Pteroceltis tatarinowii Maxim,Emmenopterys Henryi Oliv,Tonna cillata Roem,pinus elliottii,Pinus taeda L.,Acer buergerianum.The protection tree species has divided into Windbreak trees,Fire resistant tree species,Waterproof wet species,Smoke tree species,Hungry soil resistance tree species,Hi acidic species,Hi calcareous soil species.According to the garden tree species survey,analysis and evaluation of Jing county and the development of modern landscape concept,the current situation of the use of landscape trees need to be transformed and improved:(a)Tree species should be planned firstly,(b)The local native species especially those trees which can respect local characteristic and have high ornamental value with the favorable functions should be well used.(c)All green space systems and all the unit attached green space should show different style,avoid repetition and apply various diversity of plant landscape.(d)Popularize local native tree species,enhance the protection,development and appliance of rare species.(e)Establish the benefit evaluation and ecological compensation mechanism of garden tree species using,and promote ecological landscape construction.(f)species choosing should according to the principle of"unified,harmonic,equilibrium,rhythm",perform landscape gardening art form in full.(g)Strengthen the coordination of various departments and form a unified landscape layout.
