The plant bugs(mirids) are important agricultural pests, which have many varieties and wide hosts. They have not only caused serious production losses to cotton, but also made serious harm to a variety of fruit trees. In this paper, the main kinds and population dynamics of the fruit mirids were systematically investigated in different areas of Hebei province. The monitoring methods of fruit mirids were compared, and the occurrence of Apolyguslucorum were monitored by sex luring method. Two kinds of sex pheromone applied to control the number of overwintering spawning of A.lucorum. The main results are as follow:1. Apolygus lucorum is the main kind to damage fruit trees in Hebei province, otherwise Adelphocoris fasciaticollis is the small kind. Except for the strawberries, the main fruit trees were damaged by the mirids to different extent. Jujube suffered the most serious damage among them, and the second is the grape, but it has the little amount in pear, peach, apricot, apple trees and plum trees. In the three investigation areas, Changli has the highest number of A. lucorum, the second area is Baoding, theminimum number area is Cangzhou district. The reasons on different population quantity of different district are the local fruit tree planting patterns, prevention measures and awareness of mirid bugs by local farmers.2. The emergence time of the first generation of fruit mirids in Hebei province was basically at the end of April to the beginning of May. The adults of the first generation were starting occurred at the end of May. In the case of lack of food source, the adults will gradually migrate to other crops, and they will always live in fruit trees and weeds and other host of the orchards, if there have adequate food. At the end of August and early September, the adults returned to the orchard from other crops, spawning to overwinter.3. The monitoring methods on population dynamics of the fruit mirids in Hebei province in this paper included:visual observation method, plate-flapping method, sweeping method, sticky cardtraping method and sex pheromone method. Among them, the visual observation method and plate-flapping method are suitable for early monitoring of the first generation of nymphs bugs. The adult trap effect of sex pheromone method was better than sweeping method, sticky card traping method and visual observation method. 4. The effect of different kinds of sex pheromone to the wintering spawning of mirids population in grape orchard were determined. The results showed that the spawning numbers of mirids in sex pheromone treatments was slightly higher than that of without any treated orchards, but the spawning numbers of mirids on orchard treated by sex disruptors, a kind of sex pheromone, was far less that the other treatment. The experimnets showed that the sex disruptors was expected to play a better role in the IPM of the mirids in fruit orchards in Hebei.
