Agricultural transgenic technology is highly respected with its high-yield, stress resistance, resistant to insect pests, improve nutritional quality and other characteristics. However, due to modification of agricultural genetically modified organisms and the separation is too artificial gene into the organism’s genes, so that artificial genes directly involved in the ecological cycle. Human still have a long time to fully understand the linkages within the complexity ecosystem, and their relationship with the environment. The man only from the perspective of their own natural tool to consider the value of the processed gene into the nature and realize the desired results, which bring many problems have not been estimated, exposing the human value of new technologies lack of comprehensive thinking. This defect of the cognition will have adverse consequences, affecting the healthy development of Chinese agriculture, damage to fragile ecological environment. At present, Chinese society has created an enormous controversy about the development of transgenic technology, this study has a certain significance of the philosophy of technology, ecological philosophy and applied ethics research, and respond to China’s reality.This paper which used the theory of ecological holism value, was based on the Chinese agricultural transgenic technology research and development and current situation of industrialization of transgenic crops, with the example analysis, examd the affect of transgenic technology to Ecosystem diversity and Dynamic equilibrium of ecosystems, evaluate the ecological value of agricultural transgenic technology, it concluded that hold the cautious attitude to transgenic technology, co-ordination the utilitarian value of transgenic technology and ecological value.It gives reasonable proposals about China’s development of transgenic technology; increase public scientific and technological literacy and encourage public participation; to promote the development of ecological agriculture, sustainable development road.
