This paper selected the2FL-Ⅰfertilizer spreader as research object and researched atechnology route of agricultural machinery virtual simulation platform. Basing on the analysis ofmechanical structure and working principle of fertilizer spreader, this design used Pro/E and3DSMax to build3D models and used3DSMax to complete the operations of adding materialand coordinating axis. Then, this design imported3D models into Unity3D software to buildvirtual scene, wrote interactive control algorithm, completed simulation of mechanicaltransmission process through physics engine and improved collision algorithm and scene loadingalgorithm. The operation efficiency of simulation platform was improved.This paper mainly included the following jobs:(1)According to the electronic drawing, this design used Pro/E and3DSMax to complete the3D models of2FL-Ⅰ fertilizer spreader,used SketchUp to complete farm building models andused Google Earth software to create terrain.(2)The terrain model was imported into Unity3D software. According to the terraininformation, Unity3D software simulated the farm topographic relief and field distributionthrough modifying the terrain heightmap. Using environment tools, the software set water,gravity, friction and other physical effects and simulated the actual work condition of fertilizerspreader. Unity3D software simulated mechanical transmission and fertilizing effects throughphysics engine, implemented the functions of dynamic assembly of gear chain, the dismantlingand consolidation of the mechanical parts and arbitrary angle detail observation through writinginteractive control algorithm and displayed real-time condition information and navigation mapby using GUI.(3)The project file of simulation platform was released as web format. Using WebPlayerplug-in and JavaScript, all data was embedded into the browser and platform completedcommunication function between web and backend through parameter function. The treestructure for displaying mechanical construction was improved. The platform implemented thedynamic generation of tree structure and completed the function of dynamic loading data ofsimulation platform.(4)AutoRunner software was used in order to complete the function test of the simulationplatform.
