With the development of the information age and the construction of ecological civilization, theInternet of things and household gardening play an important part in our daily life, using the Internetof things technology to maintain household plants is a good direction.1. At the beginning of the research, the author had made some data collection and marketinvestigation, carefully studied the current domestic household gardening automatic maintenanceproducts. The studied maintenance products are classified in to six types according to its feature andfunction. The market study gives us an idea that the internet of things is a brand new technology inhousehold plants maintenance system.2. After a careful study of household gardening and Internet of things, we take the intelligentmanagement and resources savage into account and propose a novel design. The designed systemconsists of four parts, including collection terminal, control terminal, gateway and upper computer.nRF24L01module is used in our system for wireless communication and the control chip isIAP15F2K61S2. The System can collect environmental parameters of humidity, temperature and light.Switches of watering, artificial light and spray can be wireless controlled by the upper computeraccording to the parameters, so that the environment is suitable for household plants to grow.3. PCBs were designed, and PCB version samples were made, and all parts were welded.Meanwhile we use the keil C51and STC-ISP software to compile the program and debug themcarefully. In addition, an interface was designed by LABVIEV to make convenience of the customers.The Whole system have the function of wireless collecting humidity, temperature and lightinformation in low cost, and the function of automatically controlling watering, cooling and lighting.The system can not only be applied in household gardening but also in landscape maintenanceand management. This household gardening maintenance module can be implanted in the SmartHome System. This maintenance system is conducive to both the development of Smart Homes andhousehold gardening.
