Highly developed modern human civilization is facing a serious problem in itself bringingdevelopment. The phenomenon of global warming caused by greenhouse gas emissions leads toenvironmental degradation worldwide, and is threatening the survival of human itself. At present, theconcept of “low-carbon” has penetrated into all aspects of social life. In reducing carbon emissions,while increasing plant carbon sink effect has become a hot research. This article is based onresearching resource of old trees of the West Lake Landscape and famous scenery in Hangzhou tostudy the regulation of long-time carbon sink and evalue the landscape value of old trees. It’s main toprovide a reference for designing low-carbon landscape and planing long-time carbon sink strategy,developping and using resoure of old trees. This article takes643easily measuring and growing wellold trees of the West Lake Landscape and famous scenery in Hangzhou as the study objects. There arethree main contents rendered belowing.(1) Firstly, though searching information provided by relevant departments and studying sites,and analyzing the species composition, resources distribution, protection status of old trees of theWest Lake Landscape and famous scenery in Hangzhou, this article gets the following results: theamount of old trees is704belonging to36families,58genera and71species. And88firstly oldtrees belong to13species which mainly grow in temple yards;101secondly old tress belong to19species which mainly grow on hillside;515thirdly old trees belong to58species which mainlygrow in parks.(2) Secondly, Measuring facilitate643old trees includes their heights, diameters, crowns,numbers, names, and ages. Then combining these measuring data with biomass expansion factormethod which commonly used in forestry carbon sink calculate long-time carbon sink of old trees.according to the calculated carbon sink, this article selects the date of Cinnamomum camphora,Liquidambar formosana, Castanopsis sclerophylla, Ginkgo biloba which account for more than70%of the number of old trees with a large number of samples and a long span of ages. And usingregression analysis method elects rational function model on the relation between average carbonsink rate and age: vav(t)=b0/(t+a0), then gets the model of carbon sink and the instantaneous rateof carbon sink:S (t)=b0t/(t+a0)、 v(t)=dS(t)/dt+ab0/(t+a0)2. Through the establishment of the total amount of carbon sink and age model of Cinnamomum camphora, Liquidambar formosana,Castanopsis sclerophylla, Ginkgo bilob,four kinds of trees and horizontal comparison get the resultthat from100years to260years the carbon sink capacity of the order from highest to lowest is:Cinnamomum camphora, Castanopsis sclerophylla, Liquidambar formosana, Ginkgo biloba; andafter260years the carbon sink capacity of the order from highest to lowest is: Cinnamomumcamphora, Liquidambar formosana, Castanopsis sclerophylla, Ginkgo biloba. To these smallnumber trees which can’t be regression analysis regard the model of Cinnamomum camphora as thestander comparing horizontal of different species in different age, summing up several species withrelatively high carbon sink: Cyclobalanopsis glauca, Machilus leptophylla, Celtis sinensis, Sabinachinensis, Osmanthus fragrans, Aphananthe aspera.(3) Thirdly, this article applies the method of SBE to evaluating the landscape of old trees withits surroundings and uses the method of SD and multivariate linear regression backward to build themodel of old trees landscape evaluation: SBE=24.601H1+13.25H4+0.78H7+6.37H10. At last,this article gets the conclusion that the main factors affecting the old tress landscape are includingthe form, growing and seasonal changes of old trees.
