Resreach On Old Trees And Famous Wood Species Resource And Landscape Analysis In Sanya City

Old tree and famous wood species are precious natural resources with very high protective value and huge landscape value in ecology, landscape and humanity. Old tree and famous wood species and their reserve resources play a significant role in urban landscaping due to its functions in climate improvement, air purification, noise weakening, water reserve, sight-seeing and entertainment. To well protect and utilize old tree and famous wood species shows great practical significance and profound strategical meaning in urban construction, landscape development and so on.This paper first of all performed an investigation on the present state of old tree and famous wood species in Sanya City, and then made a quantitative analysis of these old and famous trees in Sanya. Combining relevant domestic and foreign researches and the assessment methods together, based on the current situation of old tree and famous wood species in Sanya, this paper employed analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to construct a landscape value assessment index system from aesthetic value, ecological value and resource value so as to assess the monomer plant landscape of old and famous trees. According to the related content of the selected indicators, questionnaires were distributed to relevant experts. Then statistics of the questionnaire results was made and a matrix was built for computation and verification. Eventually the weight of each indicator was acquired. Analysis of the landscape value of old tree and famous wood species using AHP is an innovative point of this paper.In the acquired index system, the indicators can be arranged as follows in order of weight:Posture (0.534)> artistic conception (0.137)> Legends&anecdotes (0.086)> Scarcity of species(0.061)> Color (0.059) landscape value (0.053)> Protection Rating (0.027)> Harmony with habitat(0.016)> diameter at breast height(0.015)> growing trend (0.012). Among all indicators posture takes a very large weight, which has fully demonstrated the core landscape value of old tree and famous wood species. This index system may offer basis and reference for the subsequent researches.
