This study focuses on the effects of pinching jujube heads and bearing branches on jujube fruit theimpact of traits;the effects of Nitrification Inhibitor Nitrapyrin (N+) on the yield and quality of jujube;theeffects of different irrigation cycle on photosynthetic characteristics and antioxidant enzyme activities ofJujube leaves in southern Xinjiang. The results showed that:1. Pinching jujube heads can increase the number of ligniform bearing branches; Pinching bearingbranches can significantly improve the number of jujube fruit on ligniform bearing branches; As forligniform bearing branches of Ziziphus jujubes cv. Huizao appropriate length of pinching is11,ligniformbearing branches of Ziziphus jujubes cv. Junzao appropriate length of pinching is5; Ligniform bearingbranches was significantly better than the results of the performance of non-ligniform bearing branches.2. The addition of nitrification inhibitor N+inhibited nitrification, increased the content of ammoniumnitrogen in soil by22.3~32.8%, decreased the contents of NO3-N by12~35.7%, improved the quantity ofjujube fruits per jujube deciduous spur, the amount of jujube fruits per plant, the yield of jujube fruits;increased the uniformity and contents of soluble solids, sugar and Vc, raised the marketability of jujubefruits.3. The net photosynthetic rate (Pn), transpiration rate (Tr), stomata conductance (gs) and intercellularCO2concentration (Ci) significantly decreased with increasing irrigation cycle. Contrary to othertreatments, the phenomenon of midday depression of photosynthesis disappeared under irrigation cycle of16days. Meanwhile, the transpiration rate (Tr), stomata conductance (gs) and intercellular CO2concentration (Ci) significantly increased and then decreased. In addition the activities of superoxidedismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and malondialdehyde (MDA) contents increased continuously with theincreasing of irrigation cycle. The activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD) andcatalase (CAT) increased and then decreased.
