The contents of statistical analysis include formulation and varieties, registered crops,fungicide manufacturers and so on. At the end of December2013, a total of6,959fungicide productswere registered, of which642were technical material and6317were formulations. A total of549varieties were registered, of which186were a single dose, accounting for33.9%,363were mixedagent composition, accounting for66.1%. The development and use of bio-pesticides have become the need of the times. Thebio-pesticides has a lot of advantages, such as narrow control spectrum, low toxicity to non-targetorganisms, environmental friendly, the unique mechanism of action, not easy to producecross-resistance to conventional pesticides, and not easy to produce drug resistance, etc. Thedevelopment of bio-pesticides is quickly. The number of registration is growing every year, and the type of biological fungicide is also increasing year by year. But there are many problems existed inthe development of bio-pesticides, such as the disjointed of research and production processes, limitedtechnical level in field, less emphasis on bio-fungicides, lacking of competitive large enterprises. Butthe demand of bio-pesticides will be greatly increased with the in-depth understanding on theenvironmental protection and food safety.4. Each year, the fungicides’ registration shows a certain percentage increase. Registeredproducts are heading for high-efficiency, low toxicity and low residue. But many problems still existon registration applications, such as national policies are not perfect, old products still occupy themain position, and high similarity, independent researches and lack of development, motivation,imitation becomes the primary means of research and development, disorder of preparationsregistration, a small proportion of environmentally friendly formulations, imbalances of the registeredcrops, etc. With more attention paid on environmental protection, new efficient and environmentallyfriendly fungicides will become the mainstream of society.5. Analyzing many factors can determine that the safety, efficiency, and environmentalcompatibility are the development direction of fungicide products. Water-based formulations willreplace the old formulations. Enterprises’ degree intensive will be gradually enhanced. Largeinternational pesticide companies that comparable to the Group will gradually appear. Biologicalpesticides will occupy a certain proportion of the pesticide market.
