In recent years, rabbit breeding has showen a trend of large-scale development,at the same time, the demand for feed is increasing.Now, the important factors which restrict the development of the aquaculture is the short of the feed resources, so develop non-conventional feed sources actively is imminent. Our country is rich in resources of residue, it is incredibly rich and Varied and it is the precious resource, which has excellent developing potential, including sweet potato waste,manioc waste,mushroom residue, vinegar residue, distillers’ grains, potato waste,suger residue, etc.To make up scientific diet formula and make feeding standard, it is necessaryto eValuate the nutritional Value of the feed. The residue feed was used less andrelatively little is known about nutritive peculiarity and feeding Value, so, it is meaningful to eValuate the nutritional Value of the feed.Test1: The determination of nutrients content in five kinds of unconventional residuefeed for rabbits.After collected representative samples, determined the routine nutritionalindex, the gross energy (GE) of the roughage was measured by oxygen bomb calorimeter.The variation range of nutrients was GE10.35%~16.37%,DM83.28%~95.76%,Ash3.05%~21.09%,Ca0.46%~6.42%,P0.07%~0.52%,EE1.61%~4.69%,CP2.39%~13.31%,CF10.66%~37.64%,NDF17.40%~69.81%,ADF13.27%~46.86%,ADL2.67%~28.11%å'ŒNFE14.09%~69.07%.Test2: Nutrients digestibility of the five kinds of unconventional residue feed forrabbits. Selected seventy-two healthy white growing rabbits with average weight(1.78±0.20) Kg at age of100days. Based on the basal diet as the control group, the fivekinds of feed raw materials replace the proportion of15%basal diet as the experimentalgroups,respectively. Results show that the apparent digestibility of DM, CP, EE, Ca and Pin the roughage for growing were higher, while apparent digestibility of CF, NDF, ADFwere lower. The variation range of nutrients digestibility was GE35%~78%,DM49%~90%,Ash45%~68%,Ca45%~66%,P27%~67%,EE60%~87%,CP69%~88%,CF21%~27%,NDF29%~30%,ADF24%~30%and NFE61%~87%, respectively.Based on the data, we get the order is manioc waste, distillers’ grains, vinegar residue,sweet potato waste, mushroom residue.
