| The first aim of this study is to utilize potato waste water as raw material to extract potato protease inhibitors by a series of methods of protein extraction and determinate the inhibitory activity of protease inhibitors. The second aim of this study is to raise the productive rate of SCP and to biodegrade waste residue of potato completely,. Taken together, it was to convert waste residue and waste water of potato processing to useful products. The potato waste residue is nutrient-rich based on analyzing the component of the potato waste residue, which is good as substrate for microbial fermentation to provide a desirable feed for animals. The results of these experiments are as follows:(1) Potato proteins had been extracted from the waste water based on a series of protein separation methods. One component among them might be a proteinase inhibitor potentially, with the inhibition rate of 75.76%.(2) It could use fungi to degrade potato residue very well. This strain could be used to produce SCP because of its low growth conditions and its high cell protein content.(3) The optimistic fermentation conditions are as follows: the ratio of potato residue and water is 100: 200(m/v), the inoculation is 10% , the fermenting volume is 100ml, the rotational speed is 180rpm; the fermenting temperature is at 30℃. Under these conditions, the result is best.(4) By comparing the fermentation results of different microorganisms, Aspergillus niger is the best one, as it can completely degrade potato residue in 70 hours. At this moment the N element of the sample is up to 4.589%. |
